Having had an email from Santander that they would be collecting my XC90 last week, just had a call from an outfit saying that they have been instructed to collect and would Thursday be fine..
Are others finding Santander are using others rather than Manhiem or BCA??

Could leasing companies be switching to other collection agents as BCA and Mannheim have shut down? Are others finding Santander are using others rather than Manhiem or BCA??

Email last week to say I would get a call by end of Tuesday ??
Cheers, can you let me know what options they give you. I don’t want to pester them much now as mine doesn’t end until the 27th. Would rather let them sort the ones out that end sooner like yoursMcfcms said:
Have you heard anything from leaseplan yet? I might chase them tomorrow. The website FAQ says that contact them to discuss options etc.

Santander have instructed Anglia to collect the v90. They are planning on coming tomorrow ... Fingers crossed it goes.
Can you let me know if it went ahead?I’m surprised to be honest, but perhaps the BCA and Mannheim issues are more about staff numbers rather than anything else. Not sure I’d consider collections an essential journey, deliveries maybe (if they are needed for key workers say).

My V90 was collected this morning by Anglia on a 2 car transporter. Very easy, distancing respected etc, going to a storage facility before going to Manheim to do full return inspection. Was a great motorway+family car. I’m surprised to be honest, but perhaps the BCA and Mannheim issues are more about staff numbers rather than anything else. Anyone had any luck on cancelling without a fee due to car not getting delivered.
My Touerag went 3 weeks ago and my 4 series was due a couple of days before it all kicked off.
I’m desperate for a car for travelling to work instead of taxis and train, (key worker)
I’m aware it’s not there fault but I have to get a car and there is no end on sight for the time being and when a delivery would happen.

Could you try contacting your broker and explain the situation and see if they can expedite your vehicle as essential? My Touerag went 3 weeks ago and my 4 series was due a couple of days before it all kicked off.

I had my A Class collected a month ago and last night received the 'end of contract inspection' email.
They are trying to charge me for 2 "damaged" alloys which were flagged up on the initial inspection. I had them replaced in the end (long story) and the collection inspection did not flag them up again as obviously they were brand new. After the collection inspection I received the usual email showing pics etc and more importantly no damage.
So it seems a final inspection was conducted back at their centre as the report is dated as such and has pics of the car sitting in their centre/garage. What has really annoyed me is that they have used pics from the original inspection (this its 3rd inspection) to show the damaged alloys. Its quite obvious they are the old pics as I can seem my driveway in them lol
I've gone back to them saying they have used old pics and there is no damage as per the collection inspection so I won't be paying a penny. Anything else I need/should do? I've emailed them back last night so expecting a reply today or next week. It's really unprofessional how they have tried to use old pics to justify the damage!
This was a deal through Pink Leasing and the collection company was SMH Fleet Solutions.

Have many other people signed a new lease deal that was due for delivery by end March?
I signed the finance paperwork on a new 3 series that was a stock car and I was told the deal was based on it being registered in Q1 by end March but the supplying dealer has shutdown. I've checked on the DVLA site and from what I can see the car hasn't been registered. With the VED increase and BMW list price increase the car will be £1400 more expensive after 1st April and I've no idea if they will honor the lease deal.

I have been given the registration number from mid march so not sure what’s happened.
My new BMW order was delayed just before the lockdown and I've not had a single update from the dealer since then. Am I right in thinking that I'm entitled to cancel my order and receive a full refund for the initial half of my deposit I've already paid?
I've received a copy of the order form confirming the details of the lease and the 50% deposit paid so far but have not signed anything yet.
I've emailed them to request this but it's proving difficult to get through. I would much rather get my deposit back now and order another car when it's clearer later in the year that I'll actually be able to collect it.

Just a quick question regarding car insurance which I found strange.
Took out a new policy for my new leased vehicle through admiral. Being a fully comp driver I know that you can drive any other car in emergency (DOC) however I realised nothing was mentioned in the certificate. Called up admiral and they said DOC is only eligible if you are the registered owner of the vehicle.
Does this rule only apply with Admiral?
