Exactly!

They're not that fast either and need revving to get any performance out of them. On the plus side, they're economical, reliable, and easy to work on. Buy a hardtop for the winter and she'll love it - she'll probably even give it a name.

A MINI is what my 13yo has said she fancies and I think that will be just the trick. She did say she wants it to be a cabrio but Mrs PB has said no to that idea!

I hope to have a Boxster within the next year or so and, conscious that it's cheaper to insure a supervised driver, I'll be tempted to see what it costs to cover her on that, if I have one, just for the learning period!
