This letter specifically states deferred payments will be made and at no point states you will not be charged for the extention period.
Apart from the bit where it says “you will remain in your vehicle until your contract terminated with us”
And the monthly payments remain the same.

So three month payment holiday followed by three extra payments in extension months 25,26,27 when I still have the car
Same total cost over term of contract agreed when the contract was originally taken out, 3 months extension with extra mileage pro rata.

Couldn’t be any clearer.

Shame it’s a dull Volvo really.

I'm afraid not. Anyone concerned about the outcome of these deferrals needs to ask the funder for a payment schedule until the termination of the agreement.

I agree with the last part of your statement but disagree with most of everything else you have said.

But then you still haven't provided the link that I asked for twice earlier so I can only think you are just causing mischief for some reason on a thread designed to help people who may need it.

Not the thread to be vexatious in my opinion.

Being defensive only exposes naivety and is not necessary. Page 355+ on the best deals thread for those too lazy to search. Only trying to provide a pro opinion but some too self righteous to accept that it seems. I'm out.

Not trying to be defensive deliberately, trying to point out what my agreement says is different to what others are indicating.

As I'm not an pro in finance perhaps you can shed light on what in the letter I posted states anything different to what I have interpreted it as - to help myself and others?
