You don't have to buy that actual car.

Stretching...literally...the coupe thing but...and at the risk of giving the same answer in many threads...Stinger?

Or, nobody's mentioned Mustang yet?

Morgan 4 Seater? Probably only 4 cyl but with decent exhaust they can sound pretty good, an event to drive , kids love them
Or more mainstream - one of the front engined Porsches

The default ph answer used to be cerbera

Mazda RX-7 ? (pretty small rear seats, people do use them for younger children though).

Currently going through the process of a divorce so naturally its important to consider what car I can get next without marital constraints!

My current car goes back next April so got a bit of time to save up.

I need 4 seats
Noise is a big factor
Economy doesnt matter
Under 35k

So far I keep coming back to a lotus Evora 2+2

Any other ideas what to look at to stop me going mad and keep my mind on track?
The first question do you actually need to use the rear seats because if you do then your list will change significantly.

Do your rear seat passengers have legs? If so, Evora will be a bit of a challenge.

Some of the 4-seat convertibles can offer a decent, real world compromise. Don't forget that if it's all about "the kids" they tend to grow with alarming speed.

Rear seats are useless, and why would you buy that when these are available for the same price, 5 years younger with a far nicer interior and actual space?

Another genuine 4 seat alternative that ticks all the boxes. (other colours are available)

M4.

Modern. All the essential toys. Pretty quick. Reliable. Proper rear seating.
