Golf 8 GTI 2.0 TSI 245 5 door manual

·         £389                       Initial rental

·         £389                       Plus 23 monthly rentals

·         8,000                     Annual mileage

·         Pure White         Free paint

·         18 weeks             Suggested lead time (12 for the DSG)

Breakdown, VED and VAT all included.

Just had this through from a main dealer (who previously arranged my 7.5 gti.)

I think the p11d is £33k odd so that's about 28%. Think I'll pass...
Who’s your dealer? I mentioned this to mine to see if they were able to offer something similar and their response was, if I wanted this offer.. go to whoever your dealer was 🤣

Does that mean Basingstoke are putting money into a VWFS standard price? Thought they were all on the same rates.

They can eat into their margins. I have had this before from dealers who say that the other dealer is making a loss at that price. Eventually they concede and match it.

Now this IS a good deal from Zen Auto - where do I sign?

Amortizes at just under £35 per month.

I’m glad you mentioned this because Hollie at Listers can’t get to this rate.....we’ll certainly not without 3 upfront.

I’ll have a word with Dominic, cheers

Excuse my ignorance - but if a local dealer has new cars in stock to shift, is there a possibility a leasing provider with a relationship with that dealership group could potentially get access to those cars and put onto a lease?

Or would the dealers generally keep them for cash sale / PCP ?

And depending on the answer on this depends if I have found some deals or not :-)

I’m avoiding biting the bullet on the e-Niro deals until I think because as much as the spec of the car looks very impressive, I can’t help but think the overall quality on what is one of their lower models will be a step down on the Lexus the OH already drives.

I haven’t seen many good deals for a premium quality (note: doesn’t have to be brand) hybrid or electric 4x4, estate or saloon for under £400 a month (business deal). Shame rwally.

There’s simply nothing available. The Lexus ES looks good but the deals are poor.

The new Kia Sorento looks very nice, apparently now on par with premium brands in terms of quality, but there’s not many deals around, the cheapest I got quoted was a 12+48 £375 or so a month, IIRC. And that was 5k pa. Very poor.

The Mercedes EQC is a bit flash for my liking but has good deals within budget, the Audi e-tron looks even better but both are pure electric and might not suit family life...

The Kia Telluride suits me so well but is not sold in the UK...

Has anyone here had prolonged test drives of a car before order?

Thanks

Cheaper still on leaseloco - https://www.leaseloco.com/car-leasing/kia/sorento/...

Also, for £10 more a month, there is stock by the looks of things. Actually looks very nice but I'm going to have to test drive first and check ride/build quality next to my Tiguan Allspace.

I applied for a Mercedes EQC test drive via the Mercedes website. The local dealer is letting me have one for a weekend
