Has anyone dealt with Arnold Clarke before? I have a quote for a bmw 135 with metallic paint from them that I am very tempted by this,

Deal approx is
6k miles 3 years
300 a month with 3 months initial can quote exact numbers if required (it’s not amazing but good enough for me)

Ps yes seen the chat on the Kugas further up. I am think end of lease as well as upfront

That’s a really good deal given the current climate. Do you happen to have contact details that you can share?
Hi sorry for slow response to everyone

Email David.Harrison@arnoldclark.com

He had very good prices on the 1 series, mine Is a factory order to my spec, also a strong offer on a3 45 tfsi e and cla250 e. All 3 years but definitely best I have seen
Any idea what the prices they are offering on the audi
The Audi was a touch over £330, 5k, 3+35

I remember he did also quote a 40 tfsi e but it is basically the same price

Just a quick question from someone who’s never done leasing before and is now starting to look at an A class or Audi A3, around £300 a month budget.
If you use a site like leaseloco how do you know how to trust the company you pick or is it pretty straightforward?

I just googled the company, in my case "Express Vehicle Contracts review" which found TrustPilot https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.expressvehicl...

Ask on here. Google them, etc.

Although you have to aware virtually every company will have a high proportion of negative reviews on trustpilot/etc. As people are more likely to review when things go wrong.

Conversely some companies pay for or incentivise positive reviews.

So you have to take trustpilot/etc with a pinch of salt.

There is a general leasing thread on here, take a read through when you have time and a sticky for leasing at the top.

I've just finished my first lease, starting my second as I await delivery.

Couple of points I've learnt....

1. Compare excess miles costs.... If your unsure of how many miles to contract to, the ppm excess cost may be low enough not to care or, be at 20ppm and be crippling.
2. Does your total mileage vs term go into multiple expensive services.... Ie, cheaper to lease over 2 yrs and not have to deal with an expensive service item in the 3rd Yr? (auto gearbox as an example)
3. Consider warranty.... Miles and years.... Will either expire the warranty?
4. Some funders seem to have a reputation for been strict on damage charges, others ( vwfs) less so.
5. Dealers can often beat broker prices.
6. Try and chase a deal not a specific car, the wider your choice of cars, the better deals (as good as they are these days) you will find.
7. You pay full price (or very near full price) for any options added. If something is important to you, possibly cheaper to get a higher model in the range with it as standard.... Or get a different car with it as standard.
8. Will the funder allow you to adjust your mileage mid term?
9. If manufacturer funded (VWFS etc) then it's likely that the lease contract will say must be serviced by a franchised dealer. Block exemption rules don't apply to leases. Some people have had no come back when they have not followed this but worth consideration. My upcoming lease just states in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.

What spec was the quote based on?

(Would be after plus pack and white, maybe metallic depending on price).
Just standard. Would be worth dropping the contact an email, he got back to me and within 10min
Thanks, i've done just that and will report back.

I’d recommend trying to lease directly from the ‘fleet’ department of a franchised dealer if you can. This will avoid ‘broker fees’, as well as another layer of complexity to the whole affair. Furthermore, a dealer should be able to look at real time manufacturer stock availability for you (whether it be cars at the factory, on a ship or at the UK docks), hence provide a better idea of availability.

The way I do this is, once you’ve found a deal on Lease Loco / Hotdeals etc use the ‘What Car Leasing’ or ‘leasing.com’ comparison sites to find a dealer contact for that same car. It doesn’t matter if they sent local or even if the price isn’t as low as what a broker ‘appears’ to offer you, if you make it clear what you have seen it for elsewhere, they typically have no choice but to match it.

It does take a little more leg work (it’s not uncommon for me to email 3 or 4 dealers about the same thing in one go), but it could save you quite a few quid and might get you a better model (if you want something in stock).

I leased 4 cars and 5th is on the way and only first one was through broker (Vehicle Savers). Broker was pretty good and then got me in touch with dealer and I dealt with fleet person. This guy was also very helpful.

With other deals I just approached dealers directly after reading about offer here or seeing it on Whatcar or leasing.com.

In case of one car, I called 15 dealers until I found one happy to do the deal. In current case, I called about 4 local dealers and one agreed to the price.

i guess the thing you have to bear in mind is that a lot of these brokers will be really feeling the pinch right now as their business has gone down to 10% what it was. I am not sure I'd be keen to be handing any of them a chunk of money to sit on for months right now.

The key is to pick carefully.

I’ve leased 4 cars now, and just ordered an A6 through Central UK. I’ve used them before and trust them.

With the A6 I won’t pay a penny until the car is delivered. The admin fee (£180) is also taken with the initial rental. I’ll also receive a £1200 incentive prior to delivery. For me I’m happy they have earned their broker fee, and at zero risk to me.

Anyone picked up the recent ipace HSE deals? Both the older and refreshed models seem to be on offer. Have loved my NX premier so want something equally nice and decked out with toys, and with govt bik rates it's a no brainer, and will probably cost the same once savings on corp tax, vat, fuel and not paying from salary taken in to account.

Cheapest I've seen is from from guy salmon jaguar in stockport, sent a message and said they'll get in touch. Followed up with phonecall and email and still not got back to me. Contacted derby jaguar via email yesterday saying I want the car, what can you offer. Nothing... Do jaguar not sell cars anymore? Anyone spotted anything better than the below, ideally from someone who wants a sale?

11kw charger hse
£540.49 p/m (+vat)
£1621.47 initial
5000 miles, think 14p excess.

Lloyd Jag have offer on older model, but it's a prereg so sat in a field for 6 months and will need mot etc, otherwise it looked a damn good price

Can someone confirm that the deal on the Tesla site is correct. On business lease it shows no deposit and £437 a month on 10k miles. Looks a bit cheap

I’m assuming that as a business lease that will be £437+vat.

And it is also based on 6 months advance rental, which is in the small print underneath.

So the actual offer is I think 6+47 @ £437+ VAT / month.

That looks to be about the current market rate, but is slightly cheaper at a number of brokers e.g. this company have the same deal but £9/month cheaper.

Hamandjam...so essentially is the initial £2400 with the £1200 incentive? If so do you have contact details please for who brokered you the deal?
