Hi

My current lease expires in a couple of months. I've had an Audi A4 saloon which was a nice vehicle and I'd like to to stick with Audi for my next deal.

Constraints are I'd prefer a 3 year deal, £250 per month and a max deposit of £2500.

To date the best deal for an Audi A3 saloon automatic petrol is

£242pm
£2400 deposit
5000 miles a year.
3 years

Is this a good deal?

5000 miles a year is tough though. My current mileage on existing lease is just under 18000 and that figure is only low due to lockdown.
Just spoke to a chap at Arnold Clark he said he's got good deals on the A3 S-line/edition 1 that might be of interest?

Well, perhaps there was some truth in the Total Motion/Pink Leasing warning.

Our final report has come back with two additional wheels and door "dents" added.

Is there an accepted way to contest the additional bits?
Oh no, that's not good!

Hopefully you've got photos / video taken day of collection to allow you to prove the damage didn't exist?

Out of interest, is it the collection agent or total motion / pink vehicle leasing that send you their 'final' report post collection?

It's the leasing company who've sent the final report, which doesn't match the collection agent's assessment.

Doesn't sound right. I am a broker but have followed the lease deals since day one as the father in law had an old school contract hire firm, funding it themselves and taking the risk. He sold it some years back so I got into this area as a secondary business. It is the funder that will bill you. Unless the broker has set this up to come through them and they chase you for this. If you have photos it will be great, but really you shouldn't be billed anything different than what was on the document the collection driver signed off on. If your inspection was 3 weeks before collection then it gave you time to repair anything, the collection company would check the vehicle as they take it and give you a collection note to show they lifted it and any damages on the vehicle. If they mess you around, agree to pay them when they can issue you with proof of damage. I bet the car is long gone and they cant.

For comparison I've got an Audi A5 S line 35 TDI 8k Per annum (43K list price) being delivered next week for £1600 down and £270 a month (6 +23). By no means the best deal of the century but puts it in to perspective for how expensive yours is.

I do wonder if this is what Total Motion / Pink Vehicle Leasing do with some of their cars:

"funding it themselves and taking the risk"

Only because they seem to offer some of the cars they get back on the used lease deal they offer.

Was going to say that's mega. Although I'd imagine it was ordered last year and factory timescales?

This X3M Competition deal looks reasonable at first glance https://www.leaseloco.com/car-leasing/bmw/x3-m/xdr...

That does include VAT it's personal. No Admin fee as it was done through an Audi dealer direct and it's not a renewal deal.

This was ordered in July 2020 mind and it's only just being delivered. There were lots of deals around like this on the A5 and A4 last summer. Not an ideal wait but worth it for the deal.

The problem with this car now is that every time even a half reasonable deal pops up anyone who follows this thread would always be thinking about the crazy £549 initial, £549 month deal a year ago. You would really need to be wanting this specific car to pay anywhere near the current prices but I guess that is where we are these days, amazing deals seem few and far between.

Since I posted this the price has shot up by anyway - it was a '91' on the leaseloco scoring system earlier when I posted the link, now it's only a '83', which is only a little bit better than that Audi TT deal.

But I wouldn’t lease an A5 and don’t see any value in doing so. I like the TT and it’s a cracking car. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea because they have a family to cart around possibly. I don’t.

To me that seems fairly normal for something like a TT. It’s not as much as a bargain as the V8 Vantage deals from last year or the Alfa 4C deals imo when compared to the price of the car but to each their own
I disagree, for factory order this is very good. Bargain isn’t a word I like to use with these types or classes of car. One isn’t a bargain hunter at this level of Marquee smile It’s also last orders as these will be the last built , so new now or never .
This level of marquee? It’s a mass produced Audi whereas the 4C is a baby supercar with a carbon tub and the Aston is a rung above. The 4C was £399 a month albeit with lower annual miles but the point remains the same. The TT is an average deal for what it is and hardly a bargain
But it’s an ALFA !? The worst cars I’ve ever owned have been Alfa’s. They try to make them look good because they need to, being constantly parked up with issues. Believe you me I wouldn’t touch an Alfa if you paid me .

They're not too bad provided you make sure you don't get a lease any longer than 3 years, so it's always within it's warranty.

I agree. They were £499 initial, £499 a month PCP deals knocking around last year which is unbelievable!
