My Arnold Clark Kuga ST Line X ordered just before Xmas is now at the dealer, it’s coming on the 11th March. Two weeks earlier than expected.
That's good to hear. Which engine was this? I ordered a 1.5 manual st line x. Last i heard it was expected at the dealer sometime next week though it had already been delayed 3 times. I ordered start of November. FYI - it's 1% from April, then 2% in 2022. Still buttons, but it's no longer 0%

I've just signed up for the E-Tron, much higher mileage (22.5k pa) so the monthlies are a fair bit higher and a 3 year deal, but made sense in that i can run as a business lease so the company pays for it all and 0% BIK;
Just for future reference, anyone wanting quotes on VW PCH, i've recently been using Dominic Betteridge at Martins in Basingstoke:
d.betteridge@martins.uk.com
He's a decent chap, good comms and has been very competitive on everything he has quoted me on over the years. Obviously handy too if you live reasonably close and want to collect, although they can arrange delivery etc if required.
Prices tend to be there/thereabouts with Hollie @ Listers. I have no affiliation with either, just passing on a recommendation.

Am hoping today's announcement's bring no huge increasesAm in the process of ordering a Model 3 company car, but if the BIK for 2023 & 2024 is going to be massively different or the grant support is withdrawn, I won't bother

SWMBO wants a Velar or RR Sport to replace the current Tiguan that is due to go in the next few months.
Struggling to justify an extra £100+/mth for the Sport over the Velar, best I’ve found is 3+48 at £532 for a D200 R- Dynamic with a coupe of options (met paint and tints) - can’t seem to find anything cheaper.
Not an amazing deal, but cheaper than buying new or even a 3yr old one through the dealers.
Am trying to convince her to look at a Macan at £494/mth but a chunky £4800 deposit is putting her off although that’s a PCP via Porsche UK
Wasn’t really looking for a 4 year deal, but slim pickings out there at the moment - any other recommendations?
Is a Macan GTS in budget? Buy outright, not lease. That’s where my money would go.Struggling to justify an extra £100+/mth for the Sport over the Velar, best I’ve found is 3+48 at £532 for a D200 R- Dynamic with a coupe of options (met paint and tints) - can’t seem to find anything cheaper.

I can recommend a dealer too. Did me some good Pch deals. Ultimately it comes down to specific offers eg when the hot R deals were about there were variations between dealers. Some offering differences of maybe £10 pm whereas others refused to quote at all and pushed pcps d.betteridge@martins.uk.com

Just got an email from RGW about an in stock Merc A35 AMG "deal"
£353.99 Inc vat on 9+35 10k per year.
Certainly by no means a bargain but might interest some given the lack of anything decent at the moment.
That's a pretty good price, considering there's nothing really about. Have you got a link? I can't find anything on their website. Well, it's 9+35 10k and it's £485.43 incl VAT.£353.99 Inc vat on 9+35 10k per year.

Hi folks, if you had a work car allowance of 5k before tax, so around £325 after tax per month, would you go for a car and insurance within that budget, or go for something and pay an extra 100-150 quid from your own pocket?
Depends on your own finances and what you can afford coupled with what car you want. Also for a basic rate tax payer £5k car allowance is more likely to be around £283 a month net. £241 for a higher rate payer.

how did you work that out? if added to a salary of lets say 36k, taking the yearly salary to 41k, would it not equate to around 320 or so a month? Also for a basic rate tax payer £5k car allowance is more likely to be around £283 a month net. £241 for a higher rate payer.
