Anyone had any dealings with 'Blue Chilli Car Leasing' ?
They're doing fairly good deals on the BMW 128ti and the M135i at the moment but never had a lease with them before or heard they're name mentioned on here ?
I got my first car through them, no issues at all with my dealings with them. They're doing fairly good deals on the BMW 128ti and the M135i at the moment but never had a lease with them before or heard they're name mentioned on here ?

Prices on their website are atrocious, not a patch on the AC deals. They're doing fairly good deals on the BMW 128ti and the M135i at the moment but never had a lease with them before or heard they're name mentioned on here ?
Arnold Clark - 4 years with 8k miles (£999 initial rental then £359 p/m)

What do you think are the perils of leasing over 4 years ?

Some interesting prices out there for electric Kona cars.
Tempted, but the boot space seems really bad. Like much worse than cars of a similar size (e.g. e-Niro).
Anyone with an electric Kona able to confirm how bad the boot space is?
Had mine for nearly 2 weeks now and very impressed. Getting 4.8 miles per Kwh driving it like I drove my previous lease, an A250. Granted it's warm weather but it points to a current range of 300 miles and also feels quicker than the Merc up to 50; the boot is fine for me and doesn't seem much smaller in practical terms than the A250. I'm getting the sense that it would be difficult to go back to an ICE car for my daily driver.Tempted, but the boot space seems really bad. Like much worse than cars of a similar size (e.g. e-Niro).

It wouldn't be my first choice but it seems to be the only way to gett a decent monthly payment in the current climate. My first lease was 2 years but that just went too quickly before I had to start looking for a new car and my current deal is over 3 years which was just about right but can't find any deals anywhere near that.....

AVC can do 128ti over 3 yrs for £379 and the M135 for £395, might still be over budget for you. For me things to look for over 4 years would be servicing costs, tyres, warranty. What do you think are the perils of leasing over 4 years ?

The sweet spot is two years - a single cheap first service and even on a 15k/pa just a set of driven axle tyres.Three years is ok if the payments makes sense but make sure it's gone back before MOT date.
No way I'd consider 4 years - most brands will be out of warranty - imagine something catastrophic happening to the engine or injection system - you could be in the hole for a five figure sum on a car you don't own. Absolutely no way!

Have you had it delivered yet? Just ordered one myself, Dolphin Grey, they only had 7 left. Just spotted no heated seats or wireless charging which is a bit disappointing but not go them now so will put up with it. Same deal, 8k miles, £334 a month on a 1 + 35.
Yes, it arrived on Wednesday - very happy with it! The sporty styling is great, especially the wheels and sports seats.Correct, no heated seats or wireless charging - the FR Sport has heated seats. I think only the first editions and Xcellence trims have wireless charging. It doesn't bother me as I always plug in via USB anyway.
I actually have an FR Sport in Dolphin Grey for a few days as well, so have them both side-by-side to compare. I prefer the seats of the FR, but the FR Sport has 360 cameras whereas the FR relies purely on parking sensors.
Just a tip - if you want the passenger wing mirror to dip down when you select reverse, make sure you enable it in the vehicle settings menu and leave the mirror adjustment knob on L for it to work all the time. The instruction manual doesn't mention that particular bit!

Rob, have you checked this thread out?

Eg in Feb (so prices have likely gone up but by much I don’t know) I paid £342 on 3+35, 8k pa, M135i, metallic paint, Pro Pack, AC inc the BMW service pack as well.

I've just signed up for a 4 year lease on an Octavia vRS. As above it was the only way to get vaguely palatable payments.
4 year warranty added about a fiver to the monthly figure.
My current car is a 3 year and I still like it so would have extended if the price was any good, but it wasn't.

I've been a motability customer for 20 years and have had 3 cars for 4 years. Land Rover Freelander on an X plate, BMW 1 Series 07, and Volvo XC60 on a 16.
Motability is on it's knees now so not an option.
Four years is as long as I would go.

We are looking for a small EV for pottering an offsetting the purchase of a C63.
Can anyone recommend any deals? LeaseLoco looks like a decent start. Is there another aggregator site or is it more about calling around?
Many thanks.

You could still be paying £250 a month for a golf R if you did.
Might not suit you, but might suit others.
Yeah and covering the out of warranty borkage and major service costs... that doesn't suit anybody, it also rockets those "£250" costs.Might not suit you, but might suit others.
