so the missus's Touran 'family' goes back on 30th, hateful hateful thing.
It is not in bad nick with a couple of light carpark dings apart from down the nearside some c@ck keyed the passenger and rear door. Fairly lightly it has to be said, but keyed nonetheless - rear door you can definitely get finger nail in scratch so needs painting, Front door is lighter and 'may' cut out but would have to blend the metallic anyway to paint the rear door!
I'm into about £600 in a local bodyshop but anyone any idea what VWFS would do / charge if I just leave it?
Thank fully have no kerbed alloys but only as I took the original set off and put a secondhand aftermarket set on which she kerbed the fk out of and I have taken them off and put the unused untouched original ones back on.

As usual, I recommend reading: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=17... VWFS - attitude at end of lease?

I'd just leave as is. Did you lease it or have it on pcp? The reason I’m asking is because ours was on pcp and we sold it to The car buying group who only knocked £50 off for one of my fairly badly scratched rear quarter panels, so could try that route instead of pcp.It is not in bad nick with a couple of light carpark dings apart from down the nearside some c@ck keyed the passenger and rear door. Alternatively, as someone has posted above, look through the list of damage charges by VWFS, it will probably be cheaper paying their standard costs than getting repaired.
We once had a different BMW car abs they didn’t charge us a thing for any of the 4 damaged alloys we had!! SVes a fortune there from getting repaired

Anyone know if Santander will extend beyond the first 6 month informal? Nothing is tickling my fancy and another 6 months wouldn't require a service.
I only had an option to extend by 6 months if I was leasing another car through them. Other than that it was a max of 30days.Pow-946 said:

not greats news as expected - extra 12 months is 12x£540pm @5k pa. Over 20% extra given our original deal was 8k pa
Amazing car but looks like it will go back so we are on the (impossible) hunt for something similar....
I have an E300 with Lex from last year also, but I'm pretty sure we can continue keeping the car and paying the informal extension going forward? I think it works like a rolling contract. Amazing car but looks like it will go back so we are on the (impossible) hunt for something similar....

Zen dropped their prices on all the Seats/Cupras today.I have one on order; I emailed them and they are going to amend the contract to the lower price.
On the face of it they seem to be a breath of fresh air compared to other leasing companies I have used before.

To be honest if they can't amend my contract it's not the end of the world.. today was my last day of cooling off period so I don't have a leg to stand on now . I emailed them as they shut for the day but will be interested to see if they can do anything - what did you say to them? Yes I've been impressed with every stage - and if they somehow agree to amend mine I will be chuffed!
