Were you planning on paying extra for metallic paint on the Scala (the standard colour Energy Blue is pretty grim in my opinion) - metallic is included in the price of the Leon which would bring the overall prices closer.
Nope, I wanted it as cheap as possible so solid paint on the Scala was fine. Will have a think about my options today. Not sure I can stomach an extra £40 a month for a very similar car, but getting it soon would be good as my wife is giving birth tomorrow, and getting the car seat in and out of my 57 plate Civic Type S is a lot more of a pain in the arse than I thought it would be.
I had a Cupra a couple of years back so it would be cool to have another Leon.

Hi all. I’ve had this price back from my local Hyundai dealer for a fully electric car for my mum. Any thoughts on this? Good, meh or bad deal?
Hyundai KONA SUV 0.0 Electric (premium specification)
3+35 (£1065.60 + 355.20)

£13,497.6 over the term of 3 years
Works out at 25% based on the 2 year calc many do on here (vehicle val is £35,560 - supposedly)
Many thanks all.

Looks smart that, ended up buying my golf, will shift it on in 2 years time, hopefully the lease market will be sorted by then, and also may well end up being electric too.
For those of us only recently looking into leasing, what do you mean 'lease market sorted by then'? Is it particularly bad at the moment in terms of prices?chip shortage right now, more people are now leasing, rather than buying. Just way up everything, some cars are cheaper to pcp than lease.
Don't get me wrong there are good deals occasionally, but deals were cheaper in the past. However list prices have moved up a lot as well which increases lease prices. Plus the tax on cars over £40k etc.

Congrats!
Have you had any luck setting up the Cupra Connect app?
It took me a couple of tries - follow the video on this link [https://www.cupraofficial.com/services/connect.html] as it runs you through the steps. I had to join it to my house Wi-Fi to make sure it was able to reach the internet but once I did that, it was pretty smooth....looking through the options I don't see as many as the Volvo On-Call app (can't start it remotely for instance) and when I click on "Online Services" the app actually crashes (iOS).Have you had any luck setting up the Cupra Connect app?

Good move to buy the Golf, would have done the same if hadn't gone down to 1 car. Currently thinking this will be our last ICE car and will move to pure electric at the end of this 36 months.MisterMooo said:

Except some occasional decent deals, prices of leasing are much higher than in recent years. We are spoilt by the deals from the past. And it's always recommended to chase the deal, not the particular car model. I didn't buy my lease car at the right price in April and now taking well priced lease to wait out used car market prices and buy back previous car then.

I’ve been hunting around for a while. Looking for car from November onwards for 36 month contract ideally and no more than this. Likely will need 12,000 miles per annum. Maybe with 3 months upfront payment.
Thoughts on best deals for an “economical” All Wheel Drive, ie economical Diesel engine or hybrid or even all electric given I do at least 1,000 miles or so per month. All wheel drive needed based on recent winter experiences! Open minded so interested to hear peoples’ thoughts. Thanks in advance

HI, any decent Audi or BMW saloon deals out there at the minute. I'm going from a Audi A4 ultra company car for the last 4 years and will be first time leasing for us.
Seen a couple of A3 deals for around 250 mark , on a 6 + 36 with 8k miles over the last few days of looking, but think looking at nov for delivery.
anyone have preferences over decent lease sites , some better than others or any where you can haggle the deal
cheers

64Kwh Premium

Met paint
1+23
£327pm
Should of opted for the maint package at £10pm tho.
No additional fees and excess mileage fee of 10p which ain't bad when you work out this thing can do a penny a mile motoring so in theory an extra 11p all in for the extra miles.

Nice one mate.
Any chance of you upload a couple of pics?
Is there much space on the back seats buddy
Got mine today, too. Lovely bit of kit! Any chance of you upload a couple of pics?

I'm six foot and could fit into the drivers side back seat with no problem.
Now have my girl's car seats in the back and there's loads of room for them.
Any particular photos?
