FTK today on the V60 B3 Santander deal - 36 months @ £299 and 10k. The 24 month deal ends up being at 23% which is pretty good given current conditions. I was really at a loss as to do seeing as there was so little out there but thankfully this came up and i'm now sorted for another 3 years. Oof!
Seems a good deal. Any idea how much the AWD version is?kane9 said:

Seems a good deal. Any idea how much the AWD version is?When we went to the dealership to see if they could match the deal they were nowhere near it. Santander have a special discount with Volvo which individual dealerships have no access to. The salesman said it was really good value.
Based on what another poster said, the service costs do seem high (£450 for the 2nd service?!) but I'll see if I'm able to get it serviced elsewhere, we'll see. After 6+ months of looking for a deal and finding nothing until now and having extended our current least for the max 3 months we're allowed, I was glad to find something. Our previous two leases have been 24 months but at this point I'd rather have a vehicle that we're happy with for 36 months and not have to worry about looking again for a replacement in 18 months.
Delivery lead times are end of Sep/beginning of Oct.

Had a call from Zen about my BMW Z4 20i M-Sport order from last week. Apparently, whoever ordered red, will have a call about lack of availability in stock and will be offered white. I actually don't mind, because I considered white but it wasn't on a list of available colours. Also, price went down and my new quote is £3000 + 23 x 241 = £8,543, 2 years, 10K miles per annum.
Still 8-10 weeks for delivery, which is fine for me. Enough time to fix and return current car.
I got that call this morning! Still 8-10 weeks for delivery, which is fine for me. Enough time to fix and return current car.
Ironically I had called them on Monday to see if I could swap to black or white.
The red looks great in pictures and bright sunlight but in the general dullness of the UK it looks non metallic tomato sauce most of the time.
When I chose it ,there was a red Z4 parked harbourside in the sunshine for 2 days ,looked great, day 3 the heavens opened the sun disappeared cue the overall ketchup effect.
Day 4 of more rain, I was trying to convince myself I hadn't made a mistake!
So £15 a month less,and a colour I am happy with.
Result!
I shoulda known better having in the past ordered a 2012 3 series in Melbourne Red out of a brochure.
When it arrived I thought there had been a mistake it was so dull and non metallic looking!
What a shocker, lease company list a car at a price, lease company honours the price and the car actually exists.
Stay tuned to hear about the lease company that delivers the car !!
Fingers crossed!
Do you have details of the lease company who you are getting the Z4 deal from? I want to contact him/her to add my name for any cancelations.
Thanks

Seems a good deal. Any idea how much the AWD version is?After 3 years with a m140i through Arval it is time to move to a brought out right car. 2nd Gen Lexus IS350 imported from Japan.
The BMW was great fun and good value, how my priorities have changed and prefer to keep the monthly lease money back into my wallet.
Wil still lurk this thread!

So, have you simply taken a loan as an alternative to the lease? And that works out cheaper if you take into account the expected resale? The BMW was great fun and good value, how my priorities have changed and prefer to keep the monthly lease money back into my wallet.

Interesting that you jumped to a negative conclusion - or so it appears from the tone of your post. I assumed he'd paid for it outright. Edited by rlg43p on Wednesday 28th July 04:20

However he paid for the car, if it was used one, prices are quite high. Lease is more expensive this year, but used cars prices are outrageous. Maybe Japanese imports didn't increase as much as non-imported cars.rlg43p said:

No loan, paid for the Lexus outright and intend to keep for a number of years. ib170 said:

What are peoples opinions on Seat Leon FR 1.4 hybrid 3 + 23 £240 a month with no admin fees? 10,000 miles p/a. Spec seems ‘ok’ for saying it’s the lower end model. I’m in the process of selling my Mk8 Golf GTI and swore I’d steer clear of VAG for a while - but here I am.
Toying with the idea of a model 3 SR for £20,105 over 3 years 10,000 p/a, but struggling with the idea of paying 50% of list price over only 3 years… stock is sparse though and I need something for 6 weeks time!
I’ll be commuting 200 miles on the M1 regularly so trying to channel my inner Greta and tell myself electric is the way and a measly VAG tax dodger isn’t solving anything…
The Mrs has the Seat Leon FR hybrid and it works well for us as her daily. She's got a 28 mile round trip commute and in summer does this entirely on electric (just). No chance in winter though, when the electric range is more like 20 miles. Longer trips, any hybrid advantage soon disappears. On longer trips is the MPG poor?
Not that I've noticed. We've only really done a handful of longer trips in it as we tend to use my car when going any real distance.Think it did high 40's (mpg) when we last did a 200 mile round trip on the motorway. So, not that dissimilar to the petrol equivalent I'd guess.

No loan, paid for the Lexus outright and intend to keep for a number of years. Been reading about the semiconductor shortage and production might not catch up to demand until 2023 so can't wait that out either.
Might just buy a banger that will see me out for the next couple of years
