@lovsn. Just wondered how you are getting on with this? I've ordered at the same price but am only getting 7k miles. Are you using a granny charger or have you had a 7kw installed? Is the electric range decent?

Really enjoying it. Lovely to drive on the adaptive dampers, with the electric motor alone offering decent punch. Wirless android auto helps massively as you don't need to interact with the overly complex built in touch screen infotatinment.

We already had a Pod Point home charger from my wife's hybrid kia x-ceed, and it charges from empty to full within the 4 hour offpeak electric window. The cupra app is super good and makes scheduled charging a doddle. If you need immediate charging during the day, it's a simple button to click on the touchscreen as you leave the car.

Range is probably around 28 miles at the moment. Unlike the xceed, it'll run the battery down all the way to zero before forcing you to use the engine. The hybrid mode option seems best for me when I'll be commuting to work again next year, as it just uses the engine on motorway, and electric motor as soon as you aren't.

Thanks for the reply. Really looking forwards to it now. Wireless android auto will be a godsend. Currently have to plug in on my V90 which is a real pain. I will have to start looking at charging points.

Considering 5k miles is £551.75 pm on the same terms I'd be surprised if it wasn't a mistake.

Yeah I couldn’t find anything better than that. Intelligent car leasing seemed to be the best - I found a couple pretty close or just under on price but they were all 48 month and when I switched to 36 the price went way over, so I was happy to go with theirs.

Only issue I had was getting the finance approved. Passed the credit check, they asked for wage slips. Provided them, they asked for bank statements. Provided them, they then rejected me. Broker said he couldn’t understand why. He went back to them, couple of weeks went by and I assumed it had fallen through. Broker even came back to me with Tucson deals, then all of a sudden I was approved!

So now just trying to make my mind up about committing on it. I think the only thing stopping me is I’m slightly concerned about the size of the boot. I’m trying to tell myself that I’m just being silly. We rarely fill the boot but I’m coming from an Arteon which has a cavernous boot so 350ish litres feels pokey. On the flip side, the Tucson is a much bigger car with just over 600l boot space - not as pretty or quick, but nice… need to make my mind up!
Seems we have similar tastes and requirements! I too am looking at the Tucson, but it isn't as good looking as the Formentor and the Cupra badge has bit more kudos to my mind. I too was a little taken aback by the relatively small boot of the Formentor, but I'm coming out of a Megane RS so isn't so much of an issue for me.

Also considering the RAV4 deals others have posted on here, but I don't think I like how it looks. Saw one in the metal the other day and the angles and lines look all over the place! But I have to make my mind up soon, quoted delivery Feb/March on the Formentor and that was 2 weeks ago so need to get moving!

Had a Qashqai for the day last year and was a good car, but was smaller than I was expecting and didn't excel in any particular field. And it would be £277 for the deal I'd want, so for £100 more I can get the Formentor which is better looking, faster and more unusual (with the £100 saved in fuel as I'd use the electric only for my 13 mile each way commute to work....)

The Qashqai is a brand new model, had a look at one a couple of weeks ago. It’s a big step forward from the old model.

Had a quick look at the qashqui, looks a nice car. But in a couple of video test drives and they are only managing 20-25 mpg.

Ah ok, on the Zen Auto site it shows the old model, which I presumed as a run out model was why the pricing seemed reasonable.

What's the general feeling of leasing with Arnold Clarke? And how is the service/maintenance/tyres package?

Least they had the decency to call you. Central leasing took my application 30 mins after the email, and haven't heard from them since!

had no problems never took tyres with them just maintenance services, only thing with them is they wont let you extend your lease unless you have took another car with them.
