Hi, I saw a few pages back a couple of people mention they had placed orders for the Black Edition Touareg - any one of you kind folk able to confirm what your offer is?

I am currently looking at one but but pricing is all over the place so cant use the usual total payments as a percentage vs RRP or discounted RRP. The debate then is it 'better' to buy given the 0% finance deals they currently have and the ability to obtain a nice deposit contribution from VWFS.

PCP brings with it its additional costs. Desperation starting to creep in i feel!
Mine was 3+35, 10k at around £550 inc metallic

Ok so for my first time lease the car goes back in January please can the seasoned pros on here explain how the pick up of the car goes?

is it the same as when returning a rental car the guy will just go round with a piece of paper looking for scratches/Dents? or is the car taken away on a truck to be thoroughly examined with a fine tooth comb?

is it the lease company themselves collecting the car or do they hire companies to collect/examine the car?

if its driven away by a driver and the inspection carried out leter how do i know that the pick up driver didn't cause any damage on the way back to wherever he is dropping the car off?

All information welcome

It differs between lenders & their contracted collection agent, but generally in my experience (1 x VWFS/BCA, 1 x PSA/Mannheim & 1 x Alphabet/BCA), they are all much of a muchness in that it will be appraised in front of you and then either driven away (then and there by the same bloke) or collected imminently afterwards. I am not aware of many situations where they appraise the car out of your sight, because after all you need to be 'talked through' the condition report and physically sign to accept/decline the report. (To my mind, any further inspection after it has left your property/sight is completely irrelevant as far as I am concerned).

I highly recommend you take the opportunity to take a good selection of high res photos of your own, from each angle, such that you have a good evidence of the vehicles condition when it gets driven away. Also copies of any servicing invoices or tyre receipts etc, because once the car goes, it'll be through an auction in no time, and as such you'll not have a leg to stand on if you need to argue something later on.

Who is your lender / collection agent?

1+35 £575 added a towbar and a heated rear bottoms, so about £600. Stick with white and changed wheels to non black.

Beware.
Mine has gone from BW 39 to 42, to BW5 of 2022.
That’s my current car (pcp) then out of warranty.
Pain in the a$$.
Ordered in June this year.
