There are a wealth of options but you're a bit more limited if you want something different but there are some good options out there.

Last of the line CL500 now some may say it's not different but you don't see loads of them on the road you'll be travelling first class & getting semi sensible fuel numbers but you will be looking at a 2013 at best:

640i M Sport again when did you last see one this has the bonus of the 3.0TT unit being both powerful & frugal on a run.

Being sensible the Lexus RC 200t ticks every box, in that it's different but is still a very nice place to be, it looks good & you can get a nice one under budget.

Nissan 370Z GT very good car & you'll get a nice low mileage example comfortably under budget:

Audi TTS not as common a sight as they used to be.

As I said earlier the Q60 Sport Tech is a very hard car to look pest with it's performance interior & the fact it can be serviced at most Nissan dealers means running costs are sensible too. Some don't like the looks but it looks better in the flesh.

The SL400 is a good car with a decent amount of go but you do work the 3.0 harder than you would do the 4.7 in the 500 so you end up using similar levels of fuel, so I'd say go for the 500.

All right, I know its a hatchback etc, but just proposing a left field choice based on the non German requirements

What is "too old"? I'd go for a Cayman for your budget.

That is a nice pick! That's what I'd go for out of everything mentioned so far

OP, did you buy anything yet?
