A friend has the Aryia and it is huge, larger than you expect actually.
Really comfy inside and spacious.
However, mileage over winter was approx 170 she said, so not great at all. Summer range was getting approx 210-220.

Assume this must be the 63kWh version?

I had an 87kWh on order before I snapped up an e:Ny1 for less than half the price. The Ariya is a far better car but >2x£ better? Nah

Auto Express give the Eny1 3 out of 5 vs 4.5 for the Ariya. The reviews are pretty much all better for the Ariya as far as I can see?

Both are only OK EVs and neither are as good as the Koreans or Tesla.

Enjoy your new car. As a daily, an EV is unbeatable, assuming it fits your usage profile.

12 month deals are extremely rare. 18 months is usually the minimum and most are 2+ years.

Yeah, I'd have done the same. The eny1 is the deal of the year IMHO, EV or no EV. Well done to whoever managed to get that deal.

Still, at this price, I think it is a better buy than the Ariya.

£408 per month with 10k miles over 36 months and only 200 mile real world range though. Toyota's reluctance to go EV is rather evident in this and its other efforts. Like the Ariya and ENY1, another so-so EV that they are having to discount to shift.

Very un PH car but Xcite car leasing - Nissan Qashqai metallic black, 2yrs 10k per year 1300 up front. 220 a month [EDITTED!]

I think its a good deal?

Yeah any EQC now will be a prereg, they've stopped making them. They only do the EQA, EQB and EQS i think based on what I saw at the dealership. We went and test drove one, as I was toying with a 1+23 at about £520 a month but whilst it was a nice place to be, it felt quite cramped in the drivers seat compared to the Discovery Sport and I wasnt willing to lose that room.

Not sure how many EQC are around as the Mercedes we went to (stockport) only had one round the back which we were lucky to get a go in.

Wish my side business was making enough to put the XM through it!

Just to be clrear, I have no great interest in the Aryia as it also not a great EV and would have chosen a Tesla MY RWD or a Kona instead, but both were much more expensive on finance. It's my wife's car and she doesn't care what she drives as long as it can fit 5 people, the dog and do the 210 round trip to Exeter in Winter and back home on a full charge. Our 2020 Kona is a bit lacking in size now our kids are grown up, hence the larger car.

We are in a similar position having leased a bigger battery Kona for almost 3 years need to decide the next move, either buy the Kona from the finance company or get something newer now that EV leasing prices are easing back. The wife is going to see the Aryia this lunchtime, currently getting 3.8 out of the Kona so a full charge will normally see you for 250 miles this time of year, did you test drive the Aryia?, was there much of a size difference v the Kona, reviews I have seen overall are pretty positive.

Is the Model Y definitely much more expensive? They have an offer on their website for the RWD verion on a 3 year deal at £399/month with 9 month deposit inc VAT for 10k miles per year. The cheapest comparable Ariya I can find for the bigger battery is £377/month, so not a huge amount in it?
