What variant did you go for? It’s way too long in my view, it should be ready within two or so weeks after arriving at the port in the UK. Our vehciles arrived at dealer ready for delivery within one month or so of the build week, this was a 73 plate delivered at the end of the year and 24 plate so current scales.
A5 Sportback S-Line 40TFSI with the Tech Pro pack, still a bit sad there were no black-editions available but I’m looking forward to all the goodies the pro pack gives.

And thanks - I’ll reach out on Monday to check in, my reason for wanting to know is i’ll have to get my private reg off my current car and let Arval know i’m ready to send it back.

Yeah the way I've read it (might be wrong!) is that fuel/tax/insurance is per year doing 10k miles a year. And its an old V8 Jag so sounds believable!

10,000 miles at the claimed 17mpg is around £3,800 a year.
and at 10000 miles a year the owner is a far braver person than me!
It was much more than £3800 per year when petrol was nearly £2 litre. The 4.2l S/C v8 is far more reliable than I was expecting & featured in a PH Brave Pill writeup.

It's done 10k, 11.5k and 7.5k between 3 MOTs & is sitting at 187k miles. Having a "The Man" for keeping you on the road and keeping the battery charged is key to reliability. I'd really consider another lower mileage one, if my needs hadn't changed.

That's got to be 45% of the car's price. That's not a great deal.

48 months. Bloody hell. Well out of warranty by then. Not ideal for a lease.

Hope you enjoy the car.

Cracking deal? 61% of the RRP for the term, 23.5k lease vs 38.5k outright purchase.

I extended the lease on a BMW from 2 years to 3 and then to 4. In the 4th year the turbos failed and it needed a new engine. BMW extended warranty is not valid on lease cars. Be careful.

I don’t want to rain on your parade but you might want to “unpull” the trigger on that actually not at all cracking deal.

I was specifically after a small -medium BMW or Audi Suv, and nothing else was coming close to that price.

Can’t remember the last time I seen an Audi Q3 or an X1 for sub £400, and compared to the GLA, which is approx £600pm, I felt this was a good enough deal

That’s rather unfortunate, I guess sometimes it just comes down to luck, I’ve had two Audi a5s on lease over a 48 term before and never had any issues, I think I’d be more inclined to take it over 36 months if I was doing 15,000 miles per annum.

It’s a good deal compared to what else is available

You can’t get a fiesta size hatchback hybrid auto for that kind of money on a 3 year lease

If time was an option may have been better waiting for Puma production to restart / cars to come through as the “facelift” is on its way and been some good auto deals on them in the past.

You’re right. Pot luck but I will never lease past manufacturers warranty ever again. It’s not worth the risk.

That is a phenomenal deal. I almost got one just before the buzz but cancelled the order as was just a bit too much money for me. I would jump on that if I could. Damn it!!!

I think that’s the kitchenless version, so it’s just a big estate car with a pop top?
