Off topic but I'd chase them in that case as it's 9 days late and can have an effect on your credit rating. It's 30 seconds work to file it assuming nothing has changed.

Anyone still looking for a BMW M2? This looks a competitive price -

https://lease4less.co.uk/car-leasing/bmw/m2/m2-cou...

I make the total lease cost - £16,644.32 inc VAT
Joke price.
Is anyone doing them cheaper elsewhere?
They were. Contract Cars. Seems to have gone up quite a bit tho. It was £452/month

I was lucky enough to get an approval and build slot under the contract cars deal.

PCH 6+23 with BMWFS

3350 deposit
558/month
10k pa

17p excess mile charge
RFL included

Self maintained.

Delivery 14-18 weeks.

Only stinger is £800 fees but I looked at total cost which came to ~£17k for two years on a £65k car. Not as good as some but by far the best deal I've seen. I was also able to choose the colour and spec, but apart from colour and a handful of leather options there isn't much.

If anyone else is looking id suggest using that as a benchmark, i keep a pretty regular eye on them and i can't imagine them going much lower (i hope!).

X7 deal looks pretty good albeit on a 24 month contract. Has anyone seen cheaper? Can’t remember if the contract cars deal was better than this?

Well done you. I wish I went for it now. I'd have gone for BG with cognac, and would have paid extra for the bi colour wheels as I don't "do" black wheels. Very tempted by the new blue, just not sure I'm brave enough.

What did you go for?

New here and to leasing in general and so a couple of quick questions please:

1, Can you recommend newsletters and email lists to subscribe to that have regular, good deals such as the one from Scott at Central UK Vehicle Leasing?
2, As I've recently started my Limited Company, I think I'll struggle generally with getting a business lease but are there leasing companies that may be able to help me?

Thanks!

Hi! Yes you can get a lease as a newer business, but you will need a lender that will allow a personal guarantee, of which there are plenty. Get in touch if we can help.

I wont post the link, but the rates have been updated to reflect stock that is actually available, as they all have options that run into the £1000's. They cannot be ordered from the factory.

Thanks, that's encouraging and will do.

That's the best deal I've seen for this. Great price but it's a huge car. Gutting they aren't applying the same discount to the X5 or X6.

Going to have a look at one at the weekend to see if I can justify getting such a big car - although it will make a great fishing wagon!

I've seen this company linked elsewhere, but they have a pretty similar offer to the contractcars one it seems: https://www.motorselect.uk/car-leasing/bmw/2-serie... maybe even better with the fees?

I went for BG, black wheels, and the black/M colour interior in the end. Waiting to hear more as had some delays on the docs with the finance.

Nice.

Yes, I spotted that thanks, after someone brought my attention to their strong X7 deal.

I have an order form ready to sign, I just need to decide if I really want to. When I do the math and it works out at £615/month for a car, then I start to doubt myself. But then I think my current car is probably depreciating £300/month and still costs me £310/month on PCP, and then I have to tax it. And I hardly drive the thing.

Haha fair one, I have the same thoughts to be honest. As good as the deal is in this case though, an M car is never going to be the most prudent financial choice!

I'd be looking at perhaps 350-400/month all in to lease something decent non-M, so the increase over that isn't the worst thing in the world. I'm just a bit bored of paying out quite a bit of money on nice but otherwise dull lease cars. (this is me justifying it to myself by the way)

I used he same justification for the salary sacrifice lease on an i4 M50 a - was paying £400 a month for a boggo diesel A6 so £600 for a the BM seemed like good value (with maintenance and insurance).

I’m using the same justification for my next car which I accept may need budget creep, however a Kia, Nissan, Hyundai is £400 a month these days!

If I sign up for a car, but then decide to cancel between now and delivery (July/August), do i just lose my £180 processing fee, or do I get a strike against my name??

That is extremely tempting! Do you know if it is just on Auto's or can you get the same deal on a manual too?

Yes. Manual is just an option, like different wheels, or comfort pack. So you can add it, but you pay the cost of the option, spread over the term. So presumably if the option is say £1000, over 24 months it's going to add £41/month.

Anyone given a car back to Arnold Clark before (Glasgow specifically) know what they’re like with returns? Just thinking if I need to refurb wheels or not and what everyone’s experience has been like with them. Thanks

I'm no expert, but you should have a 14 day cooling off period for both those initial fees, and also for the actual finance agreement. Bit more about this here https://www.leaseloco.com/blog/car-lease-cancellat...
