Just ordered the new Peugeot 308 Allure Premium in Vertigo Blue through Nationwide 3+36 £254 5k miles. Probably not the best deal but I don’t want to Mot and Service my lease Skoda so need something quickly. Finance approved and car ordered the same day. Delivery in 4 weeks apparently, We have a 2008 in the same colour and have been impressed with it so far so took the plunge.
I’m half tempted with one of these myself. Mine goes back in a few week unless the price is right to extend. They don’t look a bad car at all.

Finally received my car today, ordered in Oct 21, original estimate was Jan 22, 3+35 @ £173.94, 5k miles. Coming from a 2020 Audi A3 so step down in quality (chase the deal, not the car) but still seems likes a nice car, loads of tech to play with!
From Nationwide, who on the whole have been good to deal with, delays were beyond their control and they kept me up to date the best they can. Delivery driver today was also a lovely guy!
Thanks to this forum for the find!
Good reminder of those immortal words - chase the deal not the car. I have done the complete opposite recently (oh the shame!!)From Nationwide, who on the whole have been good to deal with, delays were beyond their control and they kept me up to date the best they can. Delivery driver today was also a lovely guy!
Thanks to this forum for the find!
My deal was 1+35 8k £188
Anyone else who ordered the recent ID3 offer received an email asking for the admin fee today? I got an email to say the order is confirmed and a follow up email from someone else asking for the £1200 to be transferred over. Not sure if I feel comfortable transferring it off, would rather pay by credit card for more protection.

Hi guys I’m new to leasing and was wondering whether you guys think gap insurance and maintenance is needed?
Many thanks
I've never taken gap insurance, may be worth it if you put are doing a higher first payment such as a 9x or 12x.Many thanks
Maintenance I don't think it's worth it for a 2 Yr lease. Depending on price may be worth it on a 3 Yr. Got to estimate cost first. For 3 Yr you will possibly need 4 tyres, 2 maybe 3 services.

Can you phone and pay by credit card ?Hi everyone, I am new here so could do with some help.
Trying to get out of my Giulia Veloce slightly earlier due to hardly driving it and not being economical around town and have found a Mazda 3 Sport Tech which I like the look of and how it drives.
Unfortunately, I am unsure if the deal is any good, however it is the best I have found.

Polymetal Grey Paint
£382 per month.
In the current climate is this any good?

Plan car leasing (ID3) have infirmary me that I can only pay the admin fee (£1200) by bank transfer. I have an email from them saying that it is 100% refundable if I cancel. Does this should legit? If it was only £150/200 I wouldn’t be bothered but £1200 is a lot to send over on a whim. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Based on nothing but gut feel I'd walk away. Couple of reasons:1. The £1200 fee is out of kilter with the market rate for this type of car.
2. Never paid an admin fee by bank transfer, by car would be more normal. Bit strange if they don't take cards in this day and age.
