Anyone enquired on the i-pace deals thru Jaguar Stockport? Top spec Sport is £669pm on a 6/35 deal 5k pa. SE and HSE are a bit cheaper but not much in it tbh.

Need to replace our Etron 50 in sept.
Or for the total cost of the lease buy a used one, and at the end sell it for half the price (assuming it loses 5k value per year) lol just messing around. Or am I.

Dilemma

Vwfs offered extension for another year for current a6 avant 2020 c8 - 13k miles annum for £194 p/m includes road tax and breakdown via audi aa.
— still losing about 3k on diesel per year vs electric car as can charge free at work

Had testdriven Tesla model Y rwd and loved it except:

- Indicators are taken from bmw x5 2015-2019 years where it doesn’t stay town once pushed down.

- No sensors so enhanced autopilot only works half what advertised as summon or smart summon or smart parking wont work without sensors.

- phantom breaking or phantom accelerating still is an issue so watch out when driving in dark

- matrix headlights hardware is there but software is lacking vs equal german level of matrix technology. You will constantly will be flashed with them on

Not had any issues with indicators so not sure what is wrong?

Enhanced autopilot isn't standard so none of those features work unless you upgrade.

Never had phantom acceleration, braking has improved but still gets confused with shadows sometimes.

Auto-high beam works fine, never been flashed once.

If it doesn’t need doing (legally) then don’t do it! It will just be an automated system that will send out regular reminders. One thing to consider though is whether or not it was registered before you had to car and does actually need one.

I've dug back a bit, but can someone share the calc to get % of P11d please? Dug back a bit but can't see

I have a quote from zen for a pre reg pug e2008 Allure Premium;
2 year deal at 10k miles pa, maintained, total of £9668.00. P11D value of the new model year is £9668, but not sure of the value of this one and just emailing to ask spec differences as the Pug side now has the grade as Allure Premium+

That deal is 26% but not sure if the aim to get to 20% is based on longer term/diff miles and how to work back...

Total cost of lease over 2 years with 8k or 5k miles should be around 25% of the retail price of the vehicle.

Usually in the current market, 25-30 is okay.

As long as you have at least two days MOT before return you should be fine.

Do we think there's room for a satirical 'worst lease deals' thread? Could at least be entertaining while the market is so pants.

I just got mailshot for an apparent 'hot deal' for a Tiguan R [the proper 320 bhp one], looks to be a cancelled order:

48 months
5k miles
£600 a month x 48
= £28,800

P11D is £47,685

= 60% of the cars value to drive it for 4 years.

doesn't seem so bad? most cars lost roughly 50% of the new retail price over 3 years before this recent Covid related silliness

Plus increased car finance rates to take into account if you’re not a cash buyer (which of course everyone on PH is).

Anyone else having issues with range on model y tesla RWD model?

On 98% charge it was showing 290miles, after half that , approx 150 miles it hit 25miles remaining and was draining fast so I believe it can barely do 190 on full charge vs advertised.

Car done 3000 miles only.

Outside temp 8-12c .

Done mostly cruising or city. Also no heated seats/steering wheel or AC. Also on reg breaking?

That’s definitely not right, I would be complaining to lease co and try and get Tesla to have a look at it. They definitely have a real range of more than 190 miles, I’d say it should be doing around 230-240 easily at the very least.

Only things I can think of is lead foot and heaters on full blast, cold weather

I mentioned this deal, but was somewhat slated for not detailing every combination of deposit/monthlies and so gave up.

Anyway, worth noting that we’ve now received the car and it’s actually the mini-refreshed late-22 Premium+ model, which was a nice surprise.

Just looking at your figures you are doing 3.6mi/kwh, I think the RWD has a battery size of 57.5kwh? Therefore 207mi range at that driving profile, a bit of cold and some high speed could bring it down? I'm expecting abuse for posting off topic.

Not the case.

Tesla confirmed real miles are
180 on RWD MY
280 on AWD MY

also checked on other forums and this is the case

And I drive extremely economical as ever , considering I get out 65mpg on my A6avant 2020
