Thanks for the replies on the Vol 9 page about the Touaregs.

I've been quoted 40 weeks on a factory order - takes me to end of early July (ih) if i order this week with no additional delays at the factory. my current car goes back end of July so really cutting it fine.

I was told by Hollie at listers that there are a few cancellations from the offer they ran earlier this year and she should have prices by friday she will let me have have a quote then. She has advised that the cancelled cars should land some time in April/May.

Fun times ahead
40 weeks. Jesus wept.

It was me! Your welcome,...my laddie is hopefully getting a black manual one.Waiting on credit checks it's his first lease so hopefully they won't be too demanding.
I got my great Z4 deal from a fellow poster, would never have got one otherwise.

Thanks Jazzer

I’ve also just ordered one, Grey DSG, 3x35 8k @£188. It’s my first lease and this car is loaded with options, at a great price-really appreciate you posting this deal!

I'm cancelling my M135i order, so now is the time to reach out to David Harrison if you're in the market for one.

Misano blue, pro pack. Was quoted ~£378 on 1x35 and 5k miles/annum.
Where can I contact him?

Thanks

The way leasing is going it might be cheaper to take the PCP route even with interest .

Regarding factory orders it might do one a favour going for the basic spec to reduce delivery waiting times

It's almost as if they dont want you to know you are getting less. This is an article I found in the car press which lists what you dont get.

"More specifically, starting from £20,745 in the UK, the Puma Titanium Design costs £1550 less than the regular Puma Titanium. In return, the standard equipment doesn'tinclude the following features: Auto High Beam, Navigation, Ford SYNC 3 (it has 2.5 instead), Electronic Air Temperature Control, Rear Parking Sensors, Lane Keeping Aid, Lane Departure Warning, Pre-Collision Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Pedestrian/Cyclist Detection, and Post-Collision Braking."

Presume this is because of the semi-conductor supply issues.
I had enquired about the ST Line version and was told it would be a ST Line Design version which has the above missing down to the semi conductor issue. I have since been told Ford are not accepting anymore order for the design versions and March is the earliest date for a Puma.

When did you order?
We ordered back beginning of June with Sytner Affinity at £369 pcm with 10k per annum, still no news!!

Happy to wait though tbh as nothing else we want.

I have seen on zen auto a few deals for “in stock” cars that have been registered in September this year.

They are however quoting delivery times of 7-8 weeks. Would any of you know why this would be the case? If the car is registered surely it must be built and at a dealer ready to go?

Anyone shed any light on this?

Makes sense why the design versions aren't showing on Ford's website. March as the earliest date would work for me so might go for this in the ST line

It’s definitely not VWFS, I think but not 100pc sure she said ARVAL, they use 6 (Santander, Hitachi, Lex, ARVAL, ALD and Leaseplan). Just checked but the lender isn’t in the docs I have received so far.

Maybe they are just trying to be realistic with time taken to complete credit check, finance agreement and organising the delivery of the vehicle? Better to do that than claim 2 weeks and be way off no?

Yeah quite possibly mate. I was thinking they might be saying that to give themselves some cover and then deliver earlier than the 7-8 weeks. They also had some deals at 3-4 weeks advertised so I was wondering what could be causing the difference

Not the OP, but David contacted me earlier as I was speaking to him about an M135i, David mentioned the car was ready for January delivery.

I managed to grab a stock one on decent price from ZenAuto. Registered but 9-12 weeks delivery? So I'm hoping for that sooner than 9-12 weeks.

Why don't you call them and ask? They are friendly people. Cars probably at port or some other storage place, so they will need more time for delivery.

Do you know the estimated delivery of this mate? I'm seriously interested!

Hi.

Looking for gap insurance. Cheapest quote I’ve had is from gapinsurance.co.uk.

Anyone have any experience of this company? I’ve heard Ala being recommended, approx £50 more.

Who would you go with?

Thanks

About to FTK on a Ford Puma ST Line X in desert island blue at £208PM on a 3 + 35 at 8k miles. It's due to arrive before Christmas this year which is a bonus as factory order is at least Feb 2022. Any thoughts on this before I go ahead?
Where's this from please? Sounds good!
