Never done a lease and my company have just added salary sacrifice scheme in the last week.
Tell me why I should not go with this deal:
£592 GROSS pay sacrificed to a £412 per month effect on take home pay for 10000 miles with no upfront payment ti get a:
NISSAN Ariya Advance SuV 87kWh battery in Gun Metallic
329 mile range (what should I expect?)
242 bhp (so longer range)
16.5p excess mileage over 10k miles
No upfront payment
Best leaseloco deal is £472 at the moment for same details.
Extras not normally in leaseloco deals:
All servicing and maintenance
Fully Comp Insurance for me and Mrs
Road Tax (RFL)
Replacement Tyres
Accident Mgt
Small car hire if off the road with an approved supplier.
Roadside Assistance
Insurance for early termination redundancy, resignation or change in circumstances.
What sort of cost will the electric be? Been told a £1k will get a 22kW charger, not sure what system this uses or £1k is too much.
I've done some man maths, my petrol alone is £3900 for my current car if I was to do 10000 miles, it would need £2k into tyres and maintenance soon. Tax and insurance is £1200 pa. The Insurance price would not change for 3 years.
Although I think I'd need to add £113 per month to keep my career average pension as is.
Is there anything I've overlooked? Do I pull the trigger now?
Seems like you will have some good savings if your insurance is that much typically. What car do you have now if it’s costing that much in fuel, or is that the cost at more than 10k miles? I do 12k miles a year and it costs around £2300, I do consider my vehicle pretty bad on fuel coming from a diesel which could get double the MPG at times. Tell me why I should not go with this deal:

The Insurance isnt too bad, but £720 for tax is the price to pay for ULEZ rather than having a soot chucker.

I've a 16yo 410bhp Supercharged v8 XF which is wonderful but rather juicy in town averaging 17mpg over about 9000 miles and and while it has been fairly reliable I want to have a European trip over to Finland (that I might chance but insurers wont) in the next year or so and a hatchback for the new dog, so it maybe time to move it and its 187k miles on.
The Insurance isnt too bad, but £720 for tax is the price to pay for ULEZ rather than having a soot chucker.
I went for exactly the same model and expect to get it next week. I paid £340 on another deal for 2 years. The Insurance isnt too bad, but £720 for tax is the price to pay for ULEZ rather than having a soot chucker.
If it was available on SS on a good deal, I would have taken it.
Right now from Tusker, on a 4 years deal, 5000 miles, I would be paying £519 net (£838 gross) with an estimated lead time of 48 weeks.
So we placed the order for an XM.

We have sat in one but not driven it - it feels very premium inside. We both thought it was large though, especially vs our Kona, but we need more space. Interestingly, the Aryia fwd's boot is the same size as the new Kona at 466 litres, and only 50L bigger with the seats folded at 1350L. The Kona is not as wide, long or high and is 100kg lighter than the 63kWh Aryia. No wonder it is more efficient. The 87Kwh Aryia weighs over 2100kgs and I doubt will travel as far as the Kona 65kWh - hey ho, it is cheaper!
Do you have the contact details for Jonathan, the number you put up a few pages back is not being recognised, see what he has left and what current pricing looks like as can see the deal is still being advertised on the Xcite website. Not a bad deal on the X4MC just now. It's a £95,565 car OTR so a 24 month deal works out as 22.76%

Does anyone have much experience with Alfa Romeo's? Considering an Alfa Romeo Tonale, but unsure after reading reviews about Alfa's in general.
I rented a Tonale in France last year. The PHEV variant. I think I put something like 2,500km on it over the space of a few weeks. Can't say I enjoyed it very much. It felt underpowered other than from about 0-10mph around town. The EV range was pretty woeful, far below what was claimed. And then there's the alfa-ness about it. It was almost brand new when I picked it up but after a few days the powered boot stopped working, the carplay connection became unreliable (it would randomly disconnect and require the car to be left completely off for a while before reconnecting, quite an issue when you're trying to navigate southern France!), one of the electric windows just wouldn't work, the trip computer just gave up and so on. Just lots of little niggles you wouldn't expect of a new car. Particularly at the price their asking
It's a good looking car though, so I couldn't being myself to hate it. It just annoyed me.

You'll save more than £3,500 a year in fuel alone. You're probably looking at saving £5k a year just in running costs, never mind the mentioned tyres and servicing.
I think they've used 'lifetime' (ie 3yrs) figures for fuel and insurance etc.rich_miller7 said:

I've gone for the deal with Leasing Options for the Veloce. Looked at the reviews and generally they were pretty positive for the Phev. It looks nice and the interior is lovely. Thought it would be an interesting car for a couple of years, first venture into a Phev for me.

Let me know if you like the car. When do you take delivery? It was a good price through Leasing Options, I seriously considered it but I don't need one until November.Looked at the reviews and generally they were pretty positive for the Phev. Yeah the way I've read it (might be wrong!) is that fuel/tax/insurance is per year doing 10k miles a year. And its an old V8 Jag so sounds believable!
10,000 miles at the claimed 17mpg is around £3,800 a year.
and at 10000 miles a year the owner is a far braver person than me!10,000 miles at the claimed 17mpg is around £3,800 a year.

I went on a test drive in M2, but wasn't blown away and didn't consider parting with the money for a lease. I thought, I can forgive exterior look, if driving the car is exciting, but it wasn't for me. Maybe test drive was too short.
Bonnet looks swollen when comparing to M3 and M4.
Infotainment is full of options, apps and icons and will require some time to setup everything. Driving aids switch on every time in comfort mode, so it's either game of pre flight checks or switching to sport, to switch some of them off automatically.
Z4 with iDrive 7 was easy to live with, but iDrive 8 is something else .
PCH offer must be still on, because I got two follow up emails, last one yesterday.
Contract Cars offer is cheaper, including their fee.
It's 16521 for 10K miles, 2 years. Select is 17243 without fee.
Have Contract Cars increase their price, or am I just not following the maths?Bonnet looks swollen when comparing to M3 and M4.
