Obviously Tesla have some say in making the headline rental (399) attractive, but ultimately it is the lenders that set the RV and the rental, so its down to their appetite as much as anything. Each lender will have a different perspective on the residuals and risk. I expect that they will all be close, but with more offers coming to market imminently, it makes sense to wait and see if those other lenders have a different view and target a rental below that 399.

I might be wrong, but I don't think the £399/£499/£599 personal lease pricing from Tesla on the Model Y versions isn't going to go lower.

It's also already quite a lot cheaper than the brokers seem to be offering. But will be interesting to see!

Hi Eddie, you mentioned that the website has not updated their Business Contract Hire pricing, and it should be £399 (like personal) less VAT

Current website minimum offer:
Term
36 Months
Annual miles
10,000 miles
Renting Payment ex VAT £356 /mo
9 months upfront

What price did you get direct, and did you go with lower mileage?

8,000 is all I need.

Narrowing down the search for a replacement for a 2021 Mii Electric replacement which has to go back in June and can't be extended unfortunately. Nothing as good as that offer anymore frown Looking for a small hatchback - Auto , counting out the swift as its manual and non-turbo

1) Vauxhall Corsa Hatchback, 1.2 Turbo 130 bhp Ultimate 5dr Auto - 179 over 2 yrs with 9 months upfront and 299 fee with leasing options

2) Mg Motor Uk Mg3 Hybrid Trophy 2024 - 197 bhp - 229 over 4 years with 9 months upfront and 300 fee with embrace leasing

Both completely different offers , but hoping someone has seen something better for either of above

Thank you

If you email them and tell them there is an error on their website, and business leasing is showing as being more expensive than the personal lease price, and mention the personal lease price is £399 inc VAT they should email you back with adjusted business lease pricing which will be around £333/month exc VAT rather than £356/month.

And they will also quote on 8,000 miles which will make it a few pounds less.

Their email address is uk_sales@tesla.com

H, the recent deals on the new shape Swift were for a hybrid automatic

Out of the 2 cars above, I would go for the new shape MG3, its better than the Corsa in every respect.

Does the MG warranty run over four years? If not I'd find a 3 year deal.

Well done you. I wish I went for it now. I'd have gone for BG with cognac, and would have paid extra for the bi colour wheels as I don't "do" black wheels. Very tempted by the new blue, just not sure I'm brave enough.

What did you go for?
I went for ZB, black and highlights with standard (black) wheels.

I pondered the cognac but I don’t think it would work with the ZB, and the only other colour I’d consider is black which I didn’t find that special in person.

ZB feels really common because a lot of demo and press cars and in that colour but I’ve only seen 1 or 2 on the road in the past year.

Didn’t want to pay for the extra frozen colours on a lease, didn’t like red or white, had a hockenheim silver m2c so that left black and blue, blue won!

My thoughts, not that you asked. Hope you can find one.
Ha ha, I didn't ask, but keep it coming! smile

You've only seen 1-2 on the road? I'm yet to see an M2 in any colour. I need to get out more!

Regarding your other reply (thank you for that too), they called me to chase me up and I was honest, said I was unsure. I also asked what if my circumstances change between now and then and he said I would lose the £180 process fee, which is fair enough and of course I could live with that.

But he also said BMW charge for a cancelled order?? Can't remember if he said £500 or £1000 for that. That's the first I've heard of that, but maybe that's if it's a lease order?

I went to BMW Hook to check out M2. They had frozen silver, black and red. Black looked best in my opinion, because it was hiding all these rectangular vents in bumpers and was nicely hiding colour difference between car paint and diffuser at the back.

As I wrote earlier, new M2 is very muscular and seems to be huge, so go and check it out in person. Driving wasn't exciting for me, but that's personal thing and previous car experience. If I was choosing based on the looks, i would go for M4.

I've never known BMW to charge any fees for cancelled orders. The only exception i could see is they wouldn't want to be stuck with an M2 as it could be difficult to sell. My BMW dealer actually declined to take an M2 as part ex just last week, as he already had 3 and was struggling to sell them!

having gone directly to the dealer regarding the XM deal, which is okay but a bit costly imo for 2 years hire (id be more tempted if my deposit went allowed an extra year), they did mention that in order to order the car, there would be a £1000 deposit, so that is likely what you lose if you cancel at any point although would need that verified before parting with the cash.

Which XM deal are you referencing please?

my lease car was involved in an accident en route to me, very frustrating! does anyone know what usually happens? doesn't seem like any major damage, alloy looks scuffed and wheel body trim looks damaged. My issue is whos going to foot my bill for the extra insurance I had to take out on my current lease car, aswell as the days I've been insured on the new car but haven't got access to.

Surely it is the leasing company that should foot the bill for repairs. Remember that insurance is for the driver, not the car. You were not driving the car, were you, so the blame should be on them. Just make sure you have all the photos documented. Good luck with your ordeal.

Repairs wont be covered by myself, will be either the delivery company, dealership or leasing company, not too worried about that. More so, given my current lease was due to go back thus insurance was cancelled on it, a new policy had to be taken out. I'm hoping to cancel within 14 days of it to just pay the cancellation fee, but again, I shouldn't be liable for this fee. The car due to be delivered had insurance from the date I was expecting delivery, which was 12 days ago! so wasted 12 days worth of insurance on it!
