Thanks for the LC500 nods chaps. I'll probably sneak a picture of it onto Thread at some stage when it's here.

What colour did you decide on after the Peoples Poll had resulted in bloodshed?

Friday budget, but LC500 inbound early next summer.
What will you do with the little 3 series?!?!!

And is this ordered, and if so what colours did you go for? They are lovely things, congrats!

You never would though would you? I mean it's either ex plod, or someone with a fuel card, but shifting it ever again would be tough, and it's not even in thread.

Is the 2.6 too weedy to drag a multicolour E class about? Werthers of joy.

WT..? Is that an actual question vaguely related to an actual barge being asked in this thread? https://youtu.be/91YS3fNegmE

Early BMW E61 525i - what to look out for? Any good? Understand bits of the tailgate likely to be broken and oil leaks common.

That's not too bad that; get it for c£4500 to £5k and you'd have a nice motor on your hands... Not worth more than that though IMO

If it's early it'll be the M54 engine; so usual rocker gasket and oil filter housing gasket leaks

As for the car; as you said, tailgate wiring and electrical niggles...

Other than that, the engines nigh on bulletproof etc

But still need to ensure it's been looked after & maintained properly beforehand

i can envisage the lengthy line of long legged Luxembourg ladies of leisure forming already.

well played, Sir.

I suggest the dashing yellow obviously (actually, I think they look fabulous in that deep blue!)

And vacuum leaks - the inlet boots, PCV system, even the oil filler can all be troublesome.

Lovely engine though.

Ahh yes, my bad. Had a total brain fart there thinking it was the V8.
Yeah, fair assumption! I would have bought V8BRJ at the same time as I got 10&12, had it been available, but someone (I like to think AC/DC) beat me to it.

Anyway… random musical whimsy aside, if I ever get the M6 back from my sister (it has ISOFIX, the others don’t), when her new car comes (hopefully January), you’re welcome to have a go in that & get a feel for what a 650 would be like. Well, apart from the engine & gearbox, obviously, but they’re not important, right?

Oh, and advance congrats M. GdG, très bein.
I didn't know you had an M6 Prinny. Cheers for the offer - would love to take you up on that!. Must admit, after watching M539s Project Chicago I had been eyeing them up as well, but I've got a thing for a V8 at the moment.

Then I start thinking a Japanese V8 would be a safer bet laugh

I thought some of you might appreciate this, a lovely crisp barge (oxymoron) outside an Inn.
