JEC ad and in Market Rasen - that's confidence-inspiring. Slather it in dynax and just roll along until it expensively fails.

It would be an interesting approach to a first date, and not without its merits.
Go for it.
Lol I was thinking the same

Early E39 that looks a headlight polish and new badge away from being really tidy.
Do these have folding rear seats? This is what I'm looking around for in a touring but good ones are thin on the ground, if folding seats are common it would work for me.

That's how I'v treated mine - keep it clean, waxoyl it, replace stuff as it breaks. Nothing major in 11 years (front wings are going though) and still going strong. Absolutely impervious to inflation despite the current madness - cost me the same as this one.

Has he thoughtfully included a parking ticket under the wiper blade for the new owner? smile

Well SOTW is a petrol, I inherited one of those a while back, its been in France for a few years. It is RHD but on Fr plates, and it came back here where my eldest (the usually responsible one) realised speeding fines didn't arrive on hisdoormat, but it went back to many a Brits favourite retirement home of 87400. You don't need much money to live there, or, strictly, much French, if you really want that. Although you can fully integrate if you wish. Nice weather, great food, good driving roads, but not much beach or mountain. Its not flash. Plenty of people in the Fr sub forum live there or thereabouts. Try Leggett if you fancy seeing what a small amount of cash can get you.

.
Why would you want to move to France but not speak the language or integrate? Never understood that one myself.

Anyway, I've been browsing Toyota Camrys today. Help me.

Not particularly bargey, but all this talk of France has led to this Friday-budget dog carrier.

Not sure where this W208 430 will end up price-wise, but it looks in good nick.

The 18 estate has always been quite an odd looking thing, more BL than French chic, but I do like it.

I liked my e46 (apart from the chocolate cooling system and the rust), £4k for a 75k mile example with that interior seems reasonable to me.

I should have said they really are uneducated, self employed Brits chancing their arms applying UK market assumptions and numbers to property there. The local Mairie will know of plenty more people will sell, and at what, completely realistic, prices. But Legget does tend to have some Ok pictures, very few local Fr agents bother, unless you’re in the 750k+ brackets in desirable places, when it gets a lot more pro.
Leggett is a great place to dream though.

I have friends that stay in the superbly named Montignaq-le-coq in Charente and they said that pretty much everything is up for sale and you just have to ask.
Once the kids have gone off their separate ways we're thinking of the same, probably about 5 years from now.

In the meantime, any good holiday lease website for that region? I promise to look at gallic barges when there.

I like that a lot. My dad used to have a 330d (unfortunately, but it was a 6 speed manual facelift) and it was a great car. I've been in a few 330is and they are nice things. Silky smooth engine. Love that interior, too!

I haven't even looked for the "watch" button.
What's the difference between watching and bookmarking. I'm guessing there must be a reason both options exist but I can't fathom what it is?
Just a guess but does bookmarking 'freeze' and store a particular page, but watching adds a thread to 'your stuff' without you having contributed to it.
Thanks but it seems not and actually bookmark saves it forever whereas with a watch it disappears if the thread stops getting replies (not that that's likely to be an issue on this thread anytime soon!) but I'll stick to bookmarking I think.

that c124 is lovely!

talking about rare saloons.. urs204 Toyota Crown with toms/modelista supercharger kit - around 360bhp and the only one in UK. They're rare in japan and were silly expensive when new! if I recall correctly around 80k? Yes the wheels are AWFUL but that's an easy fix.

check the speakers/tweeters next to headrests!
Nice, I like learning about these Japanese oddities. Dark blue on some (much) better wheels and it'd be quite the car.
Crown bore here, I have the sales brochure for this, 7,270,200 yen in 2008 so should be closer to £50k sans options and now only going for £10k-£15k on goo-net. Woody - colour code 8S6 was dark blue but I've never seen a M-supercharged one in that colour here it is on a regular 3.5

My friday contribution is that I'd like a Mazda Luce which could be had with the Rotary engine from a RX-7... this one though has the 2L V6 turbo cloud9

The interior on that is stunning and the stereo is gorgeous.
