Yes. Pics please.

These are the seller's photos. It has just come back from the paint shop today, I had front and rear bumpers repainted and the passenger side front wing that had some poor paint touching up done on it. Bonnet touched up and the whole car machine polished.

Mechanically, it has a full service history,Mercedes originally and John Haynes for many years, latterly Klasse of Fulham

Was pretty tempted by this Cayenne Turbo

Seems to have had money spent, few minor issues, cheaper tax. Top of thread.

That could be either a genuine bargain or something you'd be annoyed at buying off a person leaving the country.
Shame it's a bit Knight Rider on the outside.
“Brake booster faulty”.

No idea if that makes it a death trap, last service >12 months ago. You’d want to offer fk all.
Servicing over 12 months wouldn't concern me, certainly if it's in line with the manufacturer's recommendation.

The brake booster thing fking would though hehe

I don't really know Michael, the previous owner used them and seemed pretty happy. It's fair to say he is not really a petrolhead the SL was his first and only car but he always wanted one.

Yes indeed, that's mine. And it will sadly be up for sale imminently.

That's right up my street. Had 4 e-class estates and wanted number 5 (E500) last year but missed it at the auction. However, for me it is the wrong time and given how well loaded up this car is the price will put it out of contention. Lovely car though, I'm sure you'll have no trouble selling it.

Oof.

Page 1 of the MB thread you said you might swap the alloys, did that happen/ did you collect some alternatives?

Thanks both. It's not the absolute biggest spec E500 out there but it's not bad - heated/ventilated memory seats, rear climate, ILS lights, full airmatic suspension, probably some other small bits that I can't recall. No pano roof.

And yes, those alloys in the picture are the S600 ones that I changed to. When I bought it, it had some modern AMG something or other wheels on it that just looked wrong:

I'd have it on the smallest wheels possible and de-badged. It's a great colour

I think these may have got mentioned a while ago - maybe not a barge but a bit of an odd ball ? Largeish engine in a small car -

I de-badged it as soon as I got it. The wheels are 18s, same diameter as factory, but an inch wider front and rear.
