So on the assumption seller is willing to take an offer you'd (or whoever) be a few hundred quid apart. Insignificant. I wouldn't be interested in a low mileage 2002 manual but if someone was, they're going to struggle to find one.

Indeed. I'd say that one in particular is in an interesting niche - low mileage, interesting colours, the best engine, ULEZ compliant.

The MOT history in terms of Fails/Advisories doesn't seem to tie with the stated mileage. 25K miles for a drop link to fail - never seen something that quick. Wear and tear items (clutch mentioned previously) don't suggest the car's done so few miles. Nor does the driver's seat - I know pale Volvos are subject to creasing, but to achieve that level of wear, plus do a clutch, then it has to have been a town car for the miles, iyswim.

Plus it's the little things - trying to sell a car for a premium, but not blacking the exterior trim seems at odds, as does not a single engine image. Maybe I'm just a suspicious Old Hector?

Things can fail on age too though, but I agree, certain pointers do raise questions. The clutch though, just sounds like poor clutch control or someone a bit hard of hearing!
