Well played Jag Man!
Here's a nice but expensive one, comparatively.

One question - Why is the penultimate picture so out of focusHere's a nice but expensive one, comparatively.
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/2022041346...
Another question - Why is it so far from the south coast
Another question - Why should I not spend twice the amount on a 2018 Skoda Octavia with a 1.5L petrol engine.
Final question - Can somebody who owns a time machine go back and kill all of the people who, in the past 10/15 years, bought cars with diesel engines and specified them with sports wheels and suspension.

They're a bit leaky, but the chavved 650i should be better: https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auctions/2...
I reckon that's an afternoon's work away from being nice - replace the wheels, rear lights, pull the tints and "M" ste off it, flog that stupid splitter on facebook for 50 sheets, bingo.

I know this really belongs in the 'shed thread' but I'm sure you lot will know more about it - and no, I'm not about to take it on !

I'm sure I've seen the same tat on the same car in a different advert not so long ago. Or is there some tat meme for x350s that only Geralds are privvy to?
I reckon 75% of remaining X350s have that sort of gaudy cheap looking stick on tat all over them now, my "favourite" is the B pillar "chrome" that looks like a particularly flat piece of tin foil, matching none of the OEM brightwork even slightly. There is a very particular buyer who is drawn to old smoker Jags, they seem to love shiny coated plastic ste and massively overpaying for cars.
It's the leapers I don't get. Actually that's not true, I don't understand why you'd stick any tat on your car, but particularly leapers.
"Yeah, I know what this car needs that Jaguar obviously missed. A stupid chrome ornament in the middle of the bonnet that hasn't authentically adorned a Jaguar since the sixties, that also ruins the bonnet by putting holes in it. That'll just set it off nicely I think"

A little over the thread budget, but money saving comes in this being a year away from being ULEZ, road tax and MOT exempt. And it’s lovely.

Went to Whitewater Hotel and Spa near Ulverston over the weekend.
Being the Lake District there were of course a lot of nice cars in the car park.
It was a stey four cylinder diesel 23 plate E Class that caught my eye -
I absolutely love the wheels that were on it!
The rest of the car left me cold but the wheels looked the business.

Personally think the ‘12 is the one to get when it comes to an XJ. https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1567233

They're pretty extravagant, perhaps not best suited to a diseisel. Being the Lake District there were of course a lot of nice cars in the car park.

Mine was a poverty spec 3.4 manual which with a few engine mods went reasonably well.
Didn't stop the kids referring to it as the worlds fastest lorry though...

That's a long way from what we generally consider barge-like here, although I suppose it might qualify under the 'French-exemption'. Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
