Nah I'm the same. Although that could mean we're both boring, of course.

For sale near me, price recently dropped, good MOT history, very tempting?
Happened upon that one after seeing you post it up here.

Looks to be in good shape but alarm bells ring with the seller, for me.
Has had the car 5 minutes but doesn't need it any more, has too many projects on the go, needs space on the drive - but is amenable to a part exchange.

Either a driveway trader or he's discovered the lurking terminal fault with the car in the 500 miles he's travelled in it and wants shot.
Or, it could be completely genuine and I'm just an old cynic.

Could be wrong (again) but in the one and only slender view of the NSF, it looks like a gingercator lens that side, whereas the oft-photographed OSF has a clear lens.

Bonus: if you're a certified Saddo, the numberplate is quite good.

Why do half the photos on that look like the seller has hid in the bushes across the street and zoomed in on his phone to the max
There is much irony in the name of that dealer - I am sure that is the same Dudley home trader who has had run-ins with trading standards or the courts. He has multiple accounts on ebay.

Probably a good move, although leaving up redhead pics are just fine.

Oh I forgot, they're not.

I remember that car being advertised a while back. It was being sold privately by the owner who had thrown around 5k into it, principally on the LPG conversion to make it more commutable. He was asking for his 5k back on the car and obviously didn't find any takers.

Pretty sure the seller is Lexus chap. Worth a google, and he really is hiding in the bushes in case a wronged punter spots him.

Insane value S350 2008, yes silver and beige which is slightly wince inducing and goodness knows where those tyres came from, but trader, not spares and repairs, and 3880. Surely you could part it out for more…

Awkward colour combination but I do like the brown leather. Agree that looks fantastic value and if Mikedknight isn’t banned he could take it off your hands for cash if it all goes south…
Michelins on the front, and Landsails on the back. What could possibly go wrong biggrin

Is that likely to be one of them there dodgy 350 engines?

Very unlikely as it is a 2008 - you'd want to check the engine number against the list to be sure, though.

A bit over budget unless you're a haggling Jedi, but this looks very clean (superficially, at least, I haven't looked at the MOT history).

Or, for just above mid-thread, another brown-ish Lexus (with crap pics).

That's backwards through the hedge if I recall correctly.

Edward Hall is a terrible website to have bookmarked in your favourites.

So much (thread busting) temptation.

Bit light on details in the ad but with a thorough clean this could be decent:

It's not crusty, it's in exceptional condition, or so the ad says...
