a few grand.
not withstanding the massive profits they've been making recently.
It might only be a few grand but it is significant.not withstanding the massive profits they've been making recently.
A lot of dealer buy on fleet finance and have little cash reserves so they end up with a triple hit, loss of income due to the unsold car, loss of capital which then has the knock on of reducing how much they can borrow in future.
Losing a few £k on a car can effectively mean permanently losing a car unless someone reinvests some money.

Lose on a couple, make on dozens of others. Its not the end of the world. I was taken through some new VR tech last week, it will likely be where things go with Meta verse, incredible where this tech is going even with some set ups having real smells for certain coffees. We are really not far away from a virtual shopping trip being the norm, you walk into a virtual showroom, talk with the salesman, take a virtual test drive, get that new car smell and place the order, sit back and wait for it to be delivered, it will likely be a similar experience when it comes to servicing an EV that can be done remotely in a virtual world.
Very impressed with the set ups I was shown even as prototypes still under development, things are moving at pace with large sums of money being invested.

You cant virtually service a physical object that requires physical work doing to it.We are really not far away from a virtual shopping trip being the norm, you walk into a virtual showroom, talk with the salesman, take a virtual test drive, get that new car smell and place the order, sit back and wait for it to be delivered, it will likely be a similar experience when it comes to servicing an EV that can be done remotely in a virtual world.

errrr...slight snag with this is people will realise they don't actually have to go anywhere, so they don't need a car!gazza5 said:
