First, reset your auto-fill settings, then we might understand.

The OP has since posted a corrected post so perhaps we could move on to providing some helpful advice.

If you're having a problem with the audio unit why not buy a used unit to replace it with as it's a 2013 car & having a working Audio system will help with a trade in/sale.

What type of family car do you want? Mondeo sized/SUV/Estate? Petrol/Diesel?

Why take a 9 year old car to a main dealer? Try an audio specialist first.

Or save £5000 and sing to yourself

They recommended you get a new car because of a broken audio system? Something doesn’t sound right here. But if you do want a new car look round one of car supermarkets as you can see what’s actually on offer. First question is how much are you looking to spend

When you say they aren’t wanting to pay £5000 for a new unit who exactly is they? Is it some sort of lease deal. Anyway I’m sure you can get a very nice car for £10,000 whatever you choose to get.

Or you could replace the radio for a lot less than 5k:

Getting a used unit to the car isn't expensive or just buy an Androiod Auto plug & play unit that a specialist can fit.
