So, i currently have a peugeot e208 and a Toyota GT86 for the weekends, im looking soon to get rid of both soon and get something more of an all rounder(ish). From what i can see the 2015+ Subaru WRX STI seems to tick most boxes as it is something i would occasionally take on track/car shows/b road bash and not only has the sporty, aggressive looks but also the power and 4wd to match.

I cant seem to find anything that really competes with this car as the only downsides seem to be the MPG and inteior quality. Is there anything out there that like the scoob has sporty looks with the power and handling to match, along the 4wd (rwd is also fine) . It would be nice to see 30MPG and have slightly better interior quality. Budget is around £25k, any suggestions would be greatly appriciated! The new GR corolla seems to tick everything, just sad to hear its not coming to the UK and ive heard we cant import them frown .

(Im not really interested in anything VAG as to me they just look boring and fall short when it comes to handling)

Isn't the S209 US only special?

Do you mean a GK model Impreza? Doubt you'll get 30 mpg from one, but it's still a good choice if you can stomach the running costs and £615 a year tax, otherwise it's boring German stuff.

Here's a nice low mileage one

Or if you want one that's running a bit more power

If you want something with similar power, AWD, a lower tax bill and a bit more practicality (but perhaps less excitement), here's an Audi S3

Or its brother the VW Golf R

If you can forgo AWD, what about something from Munich?

BMW M240i

or for more practicality, an M140i

or, just go the whole hog and get this (slightly leggy) M4
