Another set of price cuts on teslas

No, it isn’t. It’s the same non-price cut misreported elsewhere already. It’s literally a few posts up.https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-64867287
I own a Tesla model Y that I bought in May last year, the price drop doesn't particularly bother me, these things happen, I don't plan to sell it for a long time, it is a great car and saves me a lot of money
Teslas are still the best if you are doing long trips, in a couple of hours I will be setting off to Barnsley from Perth, a total of 291 miles, I should only require a stop of around 18 minutes at Gretna supercharger but I will probably stop for a bit longer to have some food and go to the toilet.

Same here...I bought a new Bentley some while ago - as well as several new Jags over the years. It would have been cheaper to have carpeted the miles I travelled in Axminster.
I laugh in the face of depreciation and spank the bottom of price drops.

Except that
a) they won’t succeed , not least because there’s no credible plan to produce enough e-fuel and
b) Euro 7 and increasing numbers of zero emissions zones in cities will make pure ICE vehicles impractical, while PHEV’a will be forced to drive on EV only mode in those zones as they should.
Against this a pure BEV will be an attractive option.
How can this be enforced? What happens if your car runs out of electric juice in city? The exhaust police will come for you or something?a) they won’t succeed , not least because there’s no credible plan to produce enough e-fuel and

There are some absolute bargains to be had on Model 3s. I suspect prices will start to stabilise as the second hand stock clears. A 3 year old Model 3 is still a much better EV than a lot of brand new EVs from other manufacturers in terms of its price, range, efficiency, performance, tech and of course the charging infrastructure.pti said:

They are starting to look tempting: Cheap Model 3Not sure if this is a good deal but it appears the dealer has knocked £10,000 off this Tesla...

I wonder how much they paid for it back in December?
