What are the slowest depreciating 'normal' cars?

landcruiser 4.5d v8. Prob circa £55k new. Now at £43(cheapest I can find), so about £1500 a year.

In context the same age range rover is now £30k, circa £100k new, so circa £8750 a year.

We bought ours new in May 2019 and paid (iirc) £15,500. Nearly 4 years on and thinking about a change - WBAC offering £14,500 so around £250 per year thumbup

New shape Suzuki Jimny, since they stopped making the passenger car in 2020 due to reg’s and you can only get the commercial, there not many of them and prices are firm.

I've owned to Golfs in my time.

Golf No. 1 - bought for £3.6k, ran it for 2 years, sold for £3.6k
Golf No. 2 - Bought for £4.3k, ran it for 18 months, sold for £7k.

Not depreciation from new of course, but they held/increase their value incredibly well!

Mines an 2018, no options with 15k miles on it. I bought it in 2021 for 10.5k with 7k miles on it. WBAC currently offering 14k.

Haha, that would be a fun thread all on it's own

No way that's a normal car

My contribution to this thread is the lowly VW Up's, Skoda Citigos, and Seat Mii's

Now theyve stopped making petrol versions, those will hold value well. Especially the £20 Rfl ones

Toyota Landcruiser. Bizarre market for them.
