£15k- Jag XF V6 Diesel or?

My uncle has a 3.0d XF on a 13 plate, he drives it mainly to work and back in the week (3 miles each day) and in the summer tows a caravan with it.
He has never had any engine troubles even though the mileage is low and his family are ones for repairing when it goes wrong rather than servicing it so he's had it 4 years now and it's probably on the same oil.
Only issue he had was a sricking passenger door catch, cost him a few hundred for the parts and fitting but that's all it's had.
