100% agree. Get what you want. If worried, use a steering wheel lock and keep your key in a faraday pouch (if keyless entry)
My RS4 was the cheapest car I’ve ever insured and yet according to PH had a 100% chance of being stolen in the 3 years I owned it. I life the RS6 and wouldn’t hesitate the buy one if I found myself with the urge.

There's loads of supercars in Bradford and many parked outside £60k terraces. Leeds Road/Great Horton Road on weekends, the stuff parked around is not too dissimilar from Sloane Street/Hans Crescent.
And the drivers (not owners) of those supercars parked outside £60k terraces in Bradford are the same section of the community who do all the car theft, car jacking, joy riding, ringing etcMitchT said:

I live in a nice part of Bingley, but to get to the M606 for the M62 and M1 I have three potential routes. One takes me via Lidget Green and Canterbury, one takes me via Toller Lane, White Abbey Road, City Centre and Manchester Road, the other option is via Canal Road, City Centre and Wakefield Road. All three routes seem to be populated by drivers who are exempt from the rules and possess the carefree abandon of people who've been granted eternal life. You're basically running the gauntlet until you hit the M606. An ex colleague was carjacked at gunpoint on Cemetery Road one evening on his way home from work! The only way to avoid these areas is to go round the Leeds Ring Road to join the M1 near Garforth, which adds an extra ten miles to a southbound journey, but is worth it if you're going far enough for it not to make much of a difference overall.I travel all over Bradford, keighley and further afield.
I see varying driving standards, and admittedly the cliche areas are as bad as stated hence I have dashcams.
However car jacking and theft aren't as regular an occurance as people seem to make out.
I've had people in balaclavas on my drive checking the cars however non taken. Police couldn't do anything even with cctv footage. They were driving an RS6 which was likely stolen.
I heard one story of a house at Eldwick (just up the road ) being broken into and his RS6 taken with force.
It doesn't stop me sleeping at night, and I never consider it when choosing cars. Admittedly my cars are not as nice as many others.
The irony is that as stated the sh@t hole areas people are fearfully driving through are saturated with premium cars as well as supercars
