I had an eleven year old E36 with 43k, the tan interior was battered - it had spent it's life doing several one mile journeys per day from home to school to work to school to home, all in the same area in East London. Someone would get in an out of the car sixteen times a day, in six miles.

I followed it with a nine year old E46 with 101k, the black interior was immaculate - it has spend it's life doing long journeys on the motorway. Some would get in and out of the car four times a day, in two hundred miles.

Compare with other 3 series with similar age and mileage.
It's a 15 year old car that may have used by a larger person doing short journeys.
But it looks OK to me.

The seats etc in e90/91 etc are very hard wearing and would show little wear at that mileage.

Last 335i that I sold was on 190k miles had little wear to the seats or steering wheel.

Look at pedal rubbers ( easily changed) and edges of drivers seat belt for signs of freying, clockers normally too lazy to try and change the seatbelts.

If you really want to check for signs of being clocked pull the trim off the B pillar beside the drivers Seat it will be full of horrible debris if it’s been clocked.
