Me too, but I wouldn't fancy picking up the maintenance bills after 15 years!

A GT3 touring would do nicely, thanks.
Yep this or the winged GT3 the clear winner in terms of max driver involvement esp the 'manuel' including rapidity and very usable choice especially the 991.2.

Mere 2 year servicing very reasonable £1k minor service £2.5k major which some folks are forgetting the ott costs of some of the inferior car choices on this thread.

All well and good until you need to get to the tip, or want to take 3 friends anywhere. wink Your daily driver for the next 15 years, let’s not forget…

Lets face it top cars have a degree of compromise.

Even if it means binning your tip run and virtual 'mates'.......

Too many to choose from, running costs don’t scare me per se.

So as I’ve just been looking at one online, gimme a 300 sl. I reckon it’s well within my spannering capability yet the insurance certainly isn’t within my wallet capacity, not at the miles only be sticking on it over 15yrs.

Pointless musing.

If you had to drive a sub-5-seconds-to-sixty, petrol car, as your daily driver for the next fifteen years, what would you choose?

Lexus LFA. A dream car for me and they are reliable so maintenance costs shouldn't be too bad. The big cost is servicing and I think they are more frequent, not sure.

Come on people

its the ONLY car your going to drive but its free !

Would you really want a lardy bus ?

The fact its got to be road legal is the only reason I didn't say an FW15C !

The wife and kids can go follow in their own car smile

BTW

Tongue in cheek a little before it gets all PH'dy

Depends if a comprehensive warranty is included in the free stuff.

If so: BMW 840i Coupé (G15)
If not: BMW 440i Coupé (F32)

Add the fact that I launch a boat into salt water regularly, I'd want something that rusts spectacularly.
