Drive one, you will be disappointed. Lovely looking cars but awful handling.
Rubbish.

V8 is always the one in these - it becomes a proper musclecar/GT.
Driven both the V6 & V8 I was very disappointed. Wife, who it was for agreed and she’s the Jag fan in the household.

It’s had quite a few cosmetic changes, the wing being the obvious but all the lights have been greyed out. Personally I’d go for something standard.

Perhaps this? The colour looks much better in the flesh. I had one in this colour and received many compliments. The only thing it lacks is the ‘exhaust button’ but that can be activated via the dynamic setting. It also doesn’t have the sports seats but again I had both and found both types to be fine.

Edited to add that this one is fully loaded and has nice wheels:

Ive owned many a car, the F type is closest to a modern day Griffith or Cerbera. Top down cruiser, great fun in a point and squirt fashion.

Its not as sharp as a Cayman, but its sharper than a Mustang GT.

I've always wanted one of these but I'd basically be buying it purely for the V8 engine/noise though. If it happened to drive alright then that would be an added bonus I reckon. They are quite heavy cars so I wouldn't be expecting it to be very nimble/engaging anyway, and they aren't that type of car I'd imagine. Definitely a GT cruiser for me.

You can have some proper fun with the 2 wheel drive V8’s. As always it takes a bit of time to get use to one. Worth an extended test drive….

I've had a couple of the V8's overtake me over the years and they sound absolutely awesome for sure! I think that they are gorgeous looking things too. cool

It is great to know that you've had 2 of them as well. thumbup

I've also had many a car, including several that are considered to be benchmark in terms of handling. I have a P575 F Type and love it - it is a great GT car, and a great musclecar, but that does it a disservice. They're perfectly capable of the twisty bits in between the squirts and the weight thing is overblown in my experience.

Which is fair enough but you have to concede you're in the minority.
