An XC70 fits the bill. Oodles of luxury in SE Lux form and quite nippy with the D5 engine. They handle the miles very well, my first fault free one did 250,000 miles without issue, my current one is on 170,000.

For Bluetooth you’ll need a post 2012 one.

Winds me up when dealers intersperse the photos of the car along with inane photos of their building, logo, forecourt. Show me the car dammit frown

I do like the look of that however....

I have diesel CRV. Engine is fine. Fairly powerful and good pull. As I said above MPG could be better but that's more down to the shape and size of the car than the engine.
I am guessing mid 30's mpg?

Oh god yes! Hate this trend. Oooo look, this one has 30 pictures, promising. Turns out to be 3 identical pictures and 27 generic dealer guff images. Or the 1000 word descriptions that actually only include 3 lines about the car itself.

Sorry, as you were. The pug looks nice smile

These are a bargain IMO.
Loads of choice within your budget with the 3.0d V6 an option.

Nice choice. 69 images, and not one of the load space there?

Wait till you see what the low mileage ones go for ... you'll choke on your bks

They are all prepped well here though, all have new belts and water pump and a service before sale. They are like cockroaches and will go on and on and on if looked after.

I had an Accord estate, it had mesh roller blinds in the back seats that went into sockets in the ceiling so dogs or boxes can't jump into the front. There are two sets of sockets so the blinds can be used w the seats in the upright or folded positions. It will be easier for the dog's to get into than a high up SUV.

No bud. I work in Senior Finance in manufacturing

I half wish it was though although the advent of the new model didnt work for him initially because they were dreadfully unreliable and not a great car to sell used until it had been tweaked a bit

I'm a massive Volvo fan and love the xc90 but I'd never claim they are the most reliable vehicle of their type. Go check the VOC pages for evidence of this. 10k on a vehicle of this type would be a Lexus RX or Toyota RAV4 with my own money.

It's why we shied away and have been running XC70s in preference.

I could check it for issues with cars mistreated and run on a shoestring budget..... but I CBA.

Strong money, as you say - they have carved a niche with XC90s very successfully, clearly.
