You must pick one.

Which one and why?

Which one do you think will hold it's value better long term?

720S.

I think they look so futuristic still. I love Lamborghini but couldn’t pass the chance on a 720! If you parked both of them side by side which would you be drawn to?
I’ve had a passenger ride in a mate’s 12C and that was next level fast - so cannot imagine how quick the 720 must feel

If you can't afford to buy that type of car from a main dealer, then you can't afford to buy one.

McLaren for the steering feel, and to a lesser extent the drama and performance. But ultimately I think steering feel is key to enjoying driving on the road without having to be at ten tenths, and that's what Macs have with their HPAS and ex-Lotus engineers.

On values the 720 has depreciated faster up to this point, but is therefore better value now so probably about evens going forwards.

I have read the Mclarens have good steering before. That is a big draw for me coming from a Lotus.

I'd take the 720 S I'd look for one with a Mclaren warranty of budget to get a Thorney Motorsport warramty:

Also how rall are you as that could be an issue with the Huracan.

I know they got panned by reviewers but I have to say I've been lucky enough to have driven a few NSX's & think they're a good option.

When you're spending this kind of money you'd be mad not to explore your options.

720, cheap Lambos are ten a penny in some places and age badly. The McLaren always looks like a spaceship, so much better.

Strange comment.

So you wouldn't buy from Romans or similar?

Exactly - if the perfect car turned up at a non main dealer and you can pay £125k anyway then I am pretty sure you could pay for an independent warranty, Mac warranty or self-warranty etc.

I’d buy privately if the perfect car came up but having a warranty on any car is piece of mind (but they don’t always pay out anyway!)

They are both vulgar but the Lambo will hold its value better. Which one is the least worst choice will depend on your age and how much you care about looking a nob.

You think everyone driving a supercar looks like a knob?

Well someone’s bitter tonight.
Normally I’d take the lambo but out of those two I think I prefer the Mac. Both will be awesome no doubt OP just go with your gut preference and enjoy!

The answer to that has to be yes, to the majority of people and especially women...

Would have to be the Lambo for me!

That V10 sounds glorious.

I’m sure the 720 is very impressive, but the sound doesn’t really do much for me. Although I love the looks.

I don't understand the reasoning for this. Most people would jump at the opportunity to drive one, yet they think people driving them look stupid.....
