honda eny1 deal - feb 2024 end
Discussion
Interesting.
So why are Honda pushing this with such a good deal?
I don't think you'll get a Dacia Duster around £200 a month these days.
I'm almost tempted to get one myself but I have nowhere to charge it, well apart from the roadside chargers, which I understand cost a fortune.
Also where are you guys getting these amazing deals.
On the Honda site it's around £350 a month.

Yes, Greg at Wolverhampton told me that because they were so heavily discounting the car, they wouldn’t discount the paint or include mats. I asked twice for mats, just to push it but it was a no! I did see genuine mats on eBay for £89 but the cheap ones will do me as I only do about 4000 miles a year.

Need to go to a specific dealer. Honda are doing £8000 deposit contribution nationally but then dealers are then chopping up to another £8000 off it, with the 27k GFV you are basically only paying for the interest on the balloon payment for 2 years on the £179 / month deals. Alot of them have been snapped up now though it was first posted in the lease deal thread about 4 days ago.So why are Honda pushing this with such a good deal?

In terms of why it is so cheap, likely a combination of poor sales (it doesn't review well at the 45k list price and there are way better options at that price) and a requirement for Honda to meet EV sales targets.

1. They do nothing better than their peers (late to the party, congested marketplace, mediocre product)
2. They're expensive (at list)
3. Honda have an EV quota to fill and this is their only EV with which to fill it
I think most of us got it from Brindley Honda, though seemingly a lot of dealers will now match (if there is any remaining availability)

Which bugger has taken the last set of mats from ebay?
Wasn't me said there were 2 sets left when I bought!Just watching https://youtu.be/tDVpNssrzoQ Advantage comes with a boot sensor under the bumper, and auto closes when you walk away. Ambient lighting in the back. This is a very comprehensive video and sensible.

I have still not had any finance paperwork, just deposit taken and order form confirmation. I will try the dealer again.
Has anyone noticed if a credit check is showing on their file?
No credit check for me showing but they told me on the phone the finance had been accepted and have sent me the order form now. Said they'd be back in touch when there's a delivery date and do the contract...Has anyone noticed if a credit check is showing on their file?

I think the credit check isn't even done fully they just want proof of address, they are so desparate to shift these. Stop paying they repossess the car and go after you for the outstanding. This looks so much better than my MG ZS in so many ways, just a shame I only got 6k miles a year. Still I am fairly sure I would have gone overmileage on my ZS by the 18k miles I have over 3 years, so I have a saving of those excess miles which would have been about £2k if my maths is right so it sort of pays for itself in year 3.
