I did take it to MBW for an early barge meet, but I can't recall the year. I bought it from an MBO member not a PHer.
I'm 99.9% sure I saw it before my brain surgery which was December 2014.

Posting this wondering if anyone knows much about it?
Looks a rare late sport with 7 speed box and big ticket items done, although seller tells me after 2 new batteries it still goes flat after being sat.
It’s fairly local so going to go take a look as my E39 touring barge thread purchase is not ULEZ compliant yet this V8 is..

It does look familiar. I think it has been posted before.

Are you selling your E39? What model is it?

The grammatical clumsiness on that sign would never stop bugging me.
What a horrible car as well. It's basically a VW / Audi with shiny bits on and in an effort to create a 'Bentley' image they have hammed up the bling and it has aged really badly.
I like it a lot. And I don't care about the sign. Anyone know if you can fit LPG on this? I can't afford petrol these days. Nor Audi or Phaeton have these comfy seats. Absolutely luvely.

Yes, if you can't afford petrol you simply must buy a chavvy Bentley.

As the owner of one LPG powered BMW I can confirm the economics of it are fairly marginal. Therefore you would have to be doing a ton of miles to make it worth the fitting cost. I got my car with the conversion already done so somebody else paid for it. The price difference per litre of LPG v.s. litre of unleaded looks quite good but you have to use a lot more LPG to travel the same distance so that has to be factored in.

This one has been up for 3 or so weeks not so far from me
My now very elderly father ran one of these years ago.
Needed a new engine.....
Interior was (is) nice though
Nasty exhaust tip
And wheels frankly
And expensive
But.. still nice memories for me at least

This Volvo is mega. Proper old school Volvo.
Price is dropping…still £3k though Seems the lass who owns it has moved on to old Mercs
Interestingly the MOT history is not so bad considering its rather ancient ..except for one year which failed on underbody rust. It seems it was off road a month before it passed its MOT (with no further comment) so presumably someone spent money on it.
Purple over light beige is pretty random, but then the one we had for several years was burgundy over brown ffs. I thought it was an embarrassment of a car when we had it. With a couple of decades of maturity It seems to look better to me now though than much of its era (save for the wheels…)

Are we still permitted to post Friday price cars...

This looks like it would have been comfortable when sitting in roadworks on the way to Romsey on Wednesday, and should have enough bhp to make up the lost time [when not within range of speed cameras].

Are you based near Romsey? I have a fair bit of family there, I live about 35-40mins away!

I'm in Hastings.
I took the opportunity on Wednesday to take part in one of the few guided tours of Broadlands.
The roadworks on the A27 followed by temporary speed limits on the M27 had my right foot twitching.

I've never been to Romsey before, but know the A259/A27/M27 fairly well because I used to colaborate with a colleague in Chichester, and I had a brother who lived in Southampton.

I rather liked Romsey, what little I saw of it - A walk along Church Street and The Hundred, stopping for coffee in Nero.

Yes, I did have a look at that biggrin and it was not repaired by the look of it. Although the headlights are as expensive as Jag XJ X351. It's that the Bentley was a fortune new...

Ahh, the standard auction picture background - It always stops me looking any further into the advert.
I have the same aversion to properties that are for sale by modern auction.

How come this seller keeps forgetting one of the most important parts of the advert having to add it after to both auctions? Think he needs to see a doctor, something not right there. Early onset alzheimer's maybe.

I feel like that's strong money for a 2006 Mercedes. Even if it is the beast engine. Could never really get on with the looks of the ML at any stage of the game. There's more than one version (I don't know how many) over the years and they all look kak.

Can't stand the grab-handle centre console either. Saw they were chucking that into the early GLS as well.

Mercedes had some real aesthetic design issues starting from around this time. Maybe they just assume all their customers want Dubai spec. I want a new W211 estate, which is not what they produced in the w212 and w213
