Im not saying its not a Ferrari edition of the Fiat, but that even with all the Ferrari badges you want on it, It is still a FixItAgainTony and really doesnt belong along side the rest of the Lovely metal on that companies website.
Of course it would be, i was just trolling the "ferrari edition", not your post biggrin
OK, so we car agreed it doesnt belong then!
Yes, we do

You actually tought someone would think that a ferrari edition WOULD belong there?

Damn that's a complicated scentence.

On topic: Congrats OP! You'd be mad to take the Vanquish over the 8C (imo, but i'm biased)!
It's a car most of us can only dream of, but take it out sometimes so we can hear it!

Couple of pics taken during an awesome sunset after I had washed it (check the stonechipped nose frown )

Turns out my mate isn't quite the photographer I'd hoped, but you get the idea...

Stunning.

Simply one of the best looking cars I've seen for an incredibly long time.

Good work biggrin

Vanquish (with the manual box, of course).

Nice though all the recent Astons are they somehow don't seem truly Aston the way the Vanquish was.

Enjoy the 8C though, would that I was in a position to choose smile

They're both beautiful. Had a ride in a Vanq S last night though, and I wouldn't want one! It was thrilling to be in, but Tiptronic is jerky at best, and Auto mode is awful! I'd like to know what the 8C drives like, but I'm guessing it's better.

Suppose you had the money to drop on your dream car and after months of consideration it came down to these 2. Which would you go for and why?

Black would almost certainly be the colour in both cases (maybe a dark green or blue for the Vanq).

Mondeo & R500 & bank the rest isn't the way in this case.
Oh to have that dilemma! Vanquish S for me please, but to be honest I'd aspire to have both, and a Vantage V12, and a whole load of other stuff.

Bit of a fast-GT fan me. smile

Quality seemed pretty bad (window kept jamming, indicator stalk was dodgy etc). But damn, they're so sexy! I'd like to know what the 8C drives like, but I'm guessing it's better.

ETA - Has anyone driven a Vanq S with a manual upgrade? Is it really worth £15k?

Yes. Everything the car should have been and more. For my money I wouldn't touch that hideous abomination of cheap italian steel, Vanquish every time.

It's not steel. It's carbonfibre.

Ye Gods that Koenig is hideous - they should be shot for doing that to an 8C - they're too rare to deface!

This is how what car threads should be done!

OP puts out a Vs suggestion and then Pistonheads brainwashes him into getting an Alfa...and he gets it! biggrin

Take note everyone else!

Well done, you can rest knowing you have one of the best looking cars of all time, a sure fire classic, plus a cool Alfa badge too. I guess the only down side must be the silly price due to limited supply. For those with a more limited fund a mint Vanq for half the coin would be an easier way to go. Enjoy!
