I love it. There isn't a single kit-car element in this design, which isn't something I could say about the earlier cars (no idea what they're all called).

This is firmly in GT-territory looks-wise, IMHO. Earlier cars were quirky and unique. This is up with the big marques.

u took the words right outta my mouth.

the only thing i dont like is the style of the rear lights - naff boy racer afterburner type things

Nice one, Noble. Very different to a TVR, but with TVR's current designs that's no bad thing.

Agree, Noble makes a giant leap forward right into almost-supercar-category.

Now skip the turboes and pop in a 4 litre v8 425@8500

M14C anyone . . . I would! 360 killer . . .

Would look better in yellow I think.

Bold new designs new bold colours. Revealing cars in a depressing cloud grey doesn't do it for me.

Any photoshoppers capable of showing the car in a different colour?

It's very easy to make comments here about the M14 based on the photos.

But believe me, once you have seen the car, it brings another dimension, completely. From every angle of the car, all the propotions, the slightly contemporary twist, all work together incredibly well.

Look at the M12 3R in a photo. You really don't see the proportions, width, height and stance of the car, until you see it in the flesh.

I suggest starting a thread once people have seen the M14 at Brum and comment also.

Cheers,
Ian.

Definitely love it! The interior has got some style, there's storage and it has aggression. And not a Mondeo light cluster in sight..

If it cost £50k, I'd be heading to Noble right now... but it's true, at £75k, I'd rather wait until I've had a look at the AMV8

Leaving the price aside, I like it. It looks fantastic, very chunky and aggressive. Yes, lots of supercar styling cues (308 front wings, F40 front lights, 360 air intakes anyone?), but the whole is much greater than the sum of the parts. It's something new and different, which is never a bad thing.

Well done chaps! Just wish I could afford one

I went to the show yesterday and agree with 3rtt. I think the car looks sensational but I can understand why some people may not agree. What I can say is that when deliveries start, there will be very little on the road that will cause more commotion than this thing.Eleven orders were taken on the first day and I put myself twelfth on the list by signing up yesterday morning.

Aaah yes, that's what it looks like! Well, at the front at least, with quite a bit of Lambo influence at the rear.

I think it's a grower, but I prefer the Farboud for similar money - another car that looks like something else...the McLaren F1, in that instance. Has an RS4 engine, too.

Not better, just different:

Preferred this darker blue. Hope you don't mind!

I love it. As many people have said, the AMV8 is obviously an alternative, so I think it would have to come down to a test drive or an image thing.

From the rear three-quarter view, I see a little 911 GT1 (except, of course, the tail).

Anyone with me?

but the use of 'new' design cues ( separate embedded headlight clusters behind perspex) make it a little awkward in my book.

you mean like E-types, GT 40's etc...

I meant in that overly ornate way with plastic surrounds to the bulb with what looks like a series of LEDs around it - but I take your point on the GT40.

The new GT40 works as a kind of 'contemporary-retro' design (IMHO) and I wonder if Noble were trying a similar theme here?

Just for the record, are there any critics of the styling here who are anywhere near in the market to buy one?
I think this will appeal to people who have been through all the Ferrari's and Porsches and want something different. I reckon that's who Noble are aiming at.
After all, if it's your first £75k car, you're not going to buy a Noble. You need to get the other stuff out of your system first.

You may stand corrected Sir.... This *is* my first 75k car, and I have No. 5 or 6 winging its way to me.

So there

J

P.S. I love it in total. Sure there are some bits that I would personally change, but from the photos (and we all know photos can do strange things to a cars "feel") it's drop dead frigging wonderful.

I stand corrected...but I bet you've done the Porsche and Ferrari thing, albeit at a bit lower price. Am I wrong?
