Considering a 3R - do you know this car?
Discussion
Yes, many 3R's are notchy and one of the biggest downfalls of the car.
One of the 3R's I had in the past had the M400 upgraded linkage and it's a very decent mod to have done and a common one too for the 3R.
If it's standard then after a while you learn to ease into gear better with more experience but it won't be as smooth as having the upgrade obviously. Don't let that put you off as it's an easy enough thing to have done and I'm a fan of the day to day drive that the 3R gives.

Thanks paul/nebby, I may take a look but the black really took my fancy. It also looked like it had a bump to the front clamshell at some point, the front headlight covers had some stress cracks as did the clamshell where it meets the front windscreen, I assume this is not the norm?
I will say the chaps at sports & prestige were far more accommodating than the garage I viewed the Porsche at later on!

Agree with Dom.
Dave at Jetstream set my 6 speed up and it shifts very nicely through all the gears - really slick and positive
The only slight niggle is that it's sometimes a bit hard going into 1st from standstill.
My gear change is all standard and that's the only niggle I have to. Its only occasional though and not a hindranceDave at Jetstream set my 6 speed up and it shifts very nicely through all the gears - really slick and positive
