My driver's side door is out of alignment. The rear of the door is too low. It is rubbing against the sill. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? The passenger side is perfect. I have a feeling that this is also related to why my driver's side door doesn't lock.

sounds like the bottom door pin is bent

you can bend it back with a bit of effort, any body shop should be able to do it

Be aware, I've seen a few cars were the door dropped due to the fibreglass in the door itself giving and cracking and thus it continues to drop even after adjustment.... Check the door itself over very carefully for cracks.
Don't worry the doors can be glassed up from the inside usually without a respay being needed.
