Most of us most of the time can only see asking prices rather than actual sale prices. But the fact that there's an M400 up for 53k and a 3R (admittedly heavily 'refined') up for even more probably tells us something.
Yep. Hopefully that our time has (finally) come mrpbailey said:
I agree with pretty much zero you have said so far on this thread. People who want a car under warranty, no fettling required, new/modern etc are not going to be looking at a Noble in the first place!
I think the last few weeks on here and facebook have proven there are enough people out there looking to buy Nobles. More demand than supply = prices go up!
I capitulate entirely, not just to your point of view but from what seems to be the general consensus, although prices don't seem to reflect this, (to some degree I am trying to understand / put forward explanations why Nobles are not selling for as much as we think they should).I think the last few weeks on here and facebook have proven there are enough people out there looking to buy Nobles. Perhaps I also like the fact the Noble is not a high flyer in monetary terms, that it has humble roots, humble owners and humble prices. That for a reasonable sum (especially as compares cars of this nature) it is relatively affordable and obtainable. Clearly you have to be fairly comfortable to own a Noble but its not outrageous amounts of money. I don't know what the Bugatti Veyron Forum is like but I would wager its not as friendly and helpful as the Noble one.
Noble - car designed in a shed, built in a shed and kept in a shed - perfect!

Please don't do it! Or at least for a while longer. Having just sold my Tvr Griffith I am hoping to join the noble family but only have 25k for a 2.5. Do we really buy these specialist cars as investments? If I wanted to invest I would buy a Porsche. Its the experience and thrill of driving, over money for my hobby.
If you wanted to invest you would buy a PorscheAre you sure??

I never thought I'd actually type this, (thought it quite a few times) but I am now thinking of selling mine. As with most here, time is not a problem, just the right buyer looking for a good car!!!
Mild depression Take one drive of your Noble and, in the unlikely event that you don't feel better in the morning, come back and see me.Seriously though, you could always buy another at a later stage down the road.

Sad news but you have had her for a long time, I must of had 4 cars during your Nobility.Lets see how many "hunters" find this thread and contact you before you do an advert
Hi All,
This is as always my opinion and having just gone through the process of buying ( GTO 3R) I thought I'd give my 5 pennies worth. I paid top dollar for my noble admittedly it was in amazing condition so was happy to do do up to a point. What attracted me to the car was its performance but more so the price. I was looking for a second weekend car, not expecting to do many miles and something that was a little outrageous. I was bored of Porches and needed something new.
The noble fitted the bill in many ways but most importantly for me because of its price. Having bought at the top end of 39k it was acceptable to me to pay this for what is in fact a luxury. If however the price was higher into to 40's then this car would not have been an option for me and i would have looked elsewhere for a car that probably had less flaws and much more with regards to modern features. I cannot believe the price will increase much from what I bought at as there are too many better options but as a car in the thirty K mark its a bargain.
I would not expect my GTO 3r with 15K miles to ever be more than 42 when peaked so visions and expectations of 50+ seem way off the mark, there are too many better alternatives.

Of course, purely with inflation our cars will eventually be selling for more than cost new. My son paid £4.5k for his MGBGT. It didn't cost anywhere near that new.
What is clear is that the trough in valuations was reached some years ago now. This change in prices can only go up (excepting another recession) - it's just a question of at what rate.

I'm curious as to what these "better" alternatives are. Better how? As a usable toy, give me something up to £60k I can upgrade my M400 to. Seriously, perhaps I've missed something.I would not expect my GTO 3r with 15K miles to ever be more than 42 when peaked so visions and expectations of 50+ seem way off the mark, there are too many better alternatives.
