Mmmmmmmm, fantastic car. Do you know when it's due? Have you specced your colour yet?

Hello Martvr

I've gone for Indigo Blue Met. not as exclusive as yours I know, expecting delivery around the end of this year, early next year.

Damn,

Excellent choice of colour even though it won't be unique . Was hoping you'd been brave enough to go non-standard which might have warranted a comment.

I'm sure it'll be worth it but the wait can be frustrating .

I considered a special colour but narrowed the choice down to 3 in the end, met. green, black and the blue. Already got a green and a black car so opted for some variety .

I'm now looking at protection systems to keep the paint intact.

Guess you'll have seen this thread www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?p=2&f=13&t=14907&h=0 then. If it's any good it looks more likely to be of use at first respray time (unless you could persuade S. Africa to incorporate it for you).

Yeah, I've been following that thread, not sure how easy it would be to get a hold of though.

So far I've got a list of films like Armourfend, which unless they use a decent template sticks out too much, so I not keen on using. The 3M one, Chip Guard I think it's called which again is a plastic film but slightly more expensive. And then there is that stuff you see plastered all over Black Cabs in London with the advertising on. You can get that in any colour, with images or clear and its removable. So that is my favourite at the minute. A place in Sheffield called Burkett Quicksign, www.burkettquicksign.co.uk do it but I've not called them yet so don't know the price.

I can vouch for Indigo Blue - I've just finalised a deal on a brand new one - but luckly it's in stock and so I get it at the end of next week !
