Just had word from Kerridges that my Car is prepeared any ready for me to collect tommorow morning.
A frantic chat to the fantastic chaps at Autotorque Insurance and she is now insured and ready.
Check my profile for a pic as I am incapable of getting webshots to work.
I can not contain my excitement!!!
Please God, hold back the snow in East Anglia tonight, please.
Is anyone else going to Kerridges tomorrow?
I best have a to help me tonight.

Steve Kerridge has invited me on the TVR day at snetterton on 15th April. hey are allowing Nobles in by invitation. But..........I have got a strange insurance set up and am technically being covered for 60 days for free while a policy in designed for Noble by the best insurance company I have ever come across. They have bent over backwards to help me and as I say are technically covering me for free till the policy I want is available. This 60 days is with Norwich Union and there is a no track policy so if I want to do the tvr day I will need to cover it seperatly.
I am however thinking of booking a car skid-pan and control course in the next few weeks.
Does anyone know of any good ones, preferably in someone elses car!!
I am really nervous!!

The problem with control courses in someone elses car is that you then learn the handling traits of a different type of car. I quite like www.carlimits.com , but it is your own car and you will get some tyre wear etc.
Looks pretty good. check out www.st-racing.co.uk/
I have no proof but it looks quite good. The chap seems nice. I know what you mean about the "my own car" thing but I would really like to chuck a car around and get a feel for which way to react should I loose the back end in my car.
I could practice in Sainsbury's car park at night once I have been taught.
(joking BTW)

Well up to you, but you shouldn't do your car any damage beyond tyre wear. Different types of car require radically different speeds of response though, and don't have anything like the same feel, which is why I prefer to run my own car. You are right though, there is a degree of generic skill to catching a rwd drive car whatever it is.
Right, I'm off to the dealer. Next post and I will be an owner!!
I have made a piece of rope thats attached at one end to my toes and the other will be attached to the seat so I can only press the throttle down halfway. That way I should get home in one piece
Hopefully will be telling you all about it tonught!
